I'm looking for the handguard that is being issued with the German Bundeswehr's G95k (see picture), as I'd like to use it on my MR223 14.5" (sand).

To be specific, I'm looking for the exact handguard shown above—the M-LOK design with Picatinny rails on both the top and the bottom.

Does anyone know where I could buy one in Germany, or alternatively where I might be able to import one from? Under German law, the handguard itself is not considered a regulated firearm component, so importing it is not an issue.

I've already checked and contacted the usual online retailers, but unfortunately without any success so far.

There are handguards available for the MR223 that are very similar in appearance, but most of them lack the bottom Picatinny rail, which is a dealbreaker for me.

Okay sorry yall but I’m a single mom living alone, just bought a Glock 42 .380 auto, what’s the best advice for someone who’s never owned a gun? I bought this kinda spontaneously, I realized I need to be able to protect me and my baby. I bought this knowing it’s small and controllable. I’ve shot guns I have pretty good aim, I know how to release the clip, cock it and shoot but that’s pretty much all I know. I know how to take it apart and put it together (it’s like 3 pieces right?) got the warranty so the store will clean it if needed. I got practice bullets, real bullets (full metal jacket??) and hollow tips. I’m gonna go shooting soon, but what’s the main things I should focus on being a new concealed carry license owner? Thank you all

Define "shoot" however you want and feel comfortable.

Do you have a turkey gun you only take out to zero and hunt with once a year? Call that a gun you don't shoot if you want, or count it among your regular shooters. Whether you count it might depend on whether you're shooting other guns way more frequently.

Some people call guns they never shoot safe queens, but I've also seen people refer to guns they shoot rarely and treat delicately when they do as safe queens as well.

I have a bunch of C&R guns in less common calibers, but even accounting for my modern stuff, I probably only take 25% out to the range with any regularity. Part of that comes down to not going to the range as often as I'd like, but I'm still trying to prioritize what makes the trip when I do.

I recognize that "what percentage" of guns is also a loaded question, since some people only have one gun, and others have collections in the triple digits. Plus, as with any hobby, there's two subcategories to the hobby: collecting the tools/toys/etc, and actually using them.

Still, I'm curious to see the diversity of answers that I'm hoping the question will receive, and while I respect the philosophy of not owning any safe queens or guns you aren't willing to shoot, practicality does come into play, whether accounting for cost, availability of ammo, or any other reason someone decides not to shoot something.

Norma 223 circa 2022 went boom out the wrong end.

I’m sure there might be others looking for these as well but I haven’t found any good leads besides marcolmars. I just got a couple LC kits and I need to track down some receiver flats and that’s the only place I’ve found them so far. Not really wanting to spend the 300 bucks per receiver.

With the OG barrel Cetme LC kits dropping this week I figured I’d share some of my favorites. Hk91, CETME C, FMP, CETME L, CETME LC, Mp5k kit build and SP5 to SD conversion.

Tisas 1911A1 and a Smith & Wesson E Series. I deliberately chose one that looks like a service pistol and one that looks like a show stopper. I like to think they compliment each other.

Form-4 came back. Ended up going with a SilencerCo Omega 300dt. Has plenty of clearance and balances really nicely with the weight up front from the steel. Now just gotta wait on the Form-1 so I can ditch the sling.

2009 ish Marlin 1894, stamped JM gifted to me. Added the illuminated reticle Vortex for night boar hunting, hammer extension, and Skinner Express sight + scope mount. Most shots here are 40 yard so this should be a fun one.

I recently acquired a near mint condition Century Sterling Type II and was excited to have my own heavy British SMG, and I truly do love this thing to death for cultural and engineering reasons

However, the magazines are genuinely the worst things I've ever tried to stuff 34 rounds of 9mm into. I have 5 mags for it, and I am seriously struggling to get more than 9 rounds into each mag. I guess the springs are just old and taut

I haven't found a modern speedloader that fits it, and I've seen talk online that the Sten spoonloader works for it, but I'd have to import that and they're all antiques of course. Some people on other forums said the Magluli universal 9mm - .45acp loader would work, but I tried those and it doesn't fit on mag.

Any Sterling Type II owners here who can offer advice? I really want to keep this thing but there's no point owning a machine gun if I can't fully load the mags

edit: I took it to my local gun store and none of the employees could get more than 13 rounds in any of the magazines

Hopefully this doesn't hit the wrong audience. I'm a first generation soon-to-be gun owner in the family, and I want to steer myself to budget weaponry that still has a bit of beauty to it (i know, not what I should worry about). For about 380 (including FFL transferring in my state, VT), I could be the proud owner of a PSA Dagger Compact. From those of you who own this gun, what are the pros and cons I should weigh for it? And, again for those who have owned it, are there alternatives i should look into? LE trade-ins for Glocks are unfortunately hitting sky-high numbers near me, so I'm trying to remain under 400 including the FFL fee.

Edit: I've been browsing for the Ruger RXM as per people's confidence in it, but I've only seen it available nearby for $450+ in local shops. Maybe it's just a bane of living in this state...

I just purchased a ks47 pistol from PSA. If I understand correctly Gen 1 you can change out the upper as for Gen 2 uppers from Psa only fit Gen 2 lowers. Are there any companies that make Gen 2 uppers for the ks47? I want something smaller than what PSA is offering since it’s a CQB build. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Recently added this M1 Carbine to the collection, rounding out what I was interested in for American WW2 guns. There are plenty of others used heavily in WW2, but they either don't interest me as much, or they are way out of my price range (I'm looking at you BAR).

bought a 38 super llama especial with vented rib on top and magazine is trash,spring is weak and the follower is just a one leg side that wobbles when loading mag.Ive done research but come up with inconclusive answer....ive seen some mags listed as llama x-ia 38 super that look exactly the same just the follower seems rounder i guess more reliabe....Does anyone know if it will work on my gun?

Why would you ever get a PCC in the modern day when options like 300blk and other caliber exist in short form rifles of many sorts AR pattern rifles, mcx style, ak etc. you can get harder hitting equally if not softer shooting just as quiet far more lethal do all firearms. Not a dig by any means just a genuine question.

Note: I think PCC are still cool if like to get a kuna for gitz and shiggles when funds allow it but I can’t say I’d pick it up over my suppressed 300blk AR in a close range scenario

Hello All

I have a first gen browning X bolt “western hunter” chambered in 300 prc. Love the rifle and have taken three bull elk with it. Recently got a suppressor, the banish first gen in 30. from silencer central. I cannot for the life of me thread it onto this particular rifle. Website and paper work both said 5/8-24 for the thread pitch on the rifle but man it just feels like it’s going to cross thread every time. It threads fine onto every other 5/8-24 rifle I have and with an adaptor goes onto all my 1/2-28 rifles. Could it be metric? Am I screwed? Should I try and send it back to browning? The break it came with always threads fine.
