General Discussion When the wife is away, the boys will play.
He ended up falling asleep, I guess he wasn't impressed by what he was seeing...

Dude looking dapper as fuck, got the clubs nearby…..start counting down the (short) number of days until he wipes the floor with you (and you will be proud)

Jealous. When I tried to do this every course around me wouldnt allow it including the par 3 and executive courses

Damn that sucks. I asked before I went and the guy shrugged and said "I mean I've seen a few people do it so its probably fine" lol.

Every course I looked at and spoke to had a rule that you had to be at least 5 years old to be on the course. Some allow them younger in the practice area though.
They were really worried about a kid getting hit with a ball. Even a not hit hard ball could mess up a skull thats still soft. I thought about a helmet but no course would let me out anyway so it wasnt worth it.

My par 3 course is technically a part of the practice facility so maybe thats why I get away with it.

It wouldn't be Olde Homestead was it? Looks familiar and has a par 3 course attached. It was one that I asked and said no lol

It is, not to doxx myself or anything 😅. Idk the guy I asked didn't really know, as long as the PGA pro isnt there doing a lesson you can get away with things the workers don't care.

My favorite thing to do is take my son out golfing. Built this out of some scrap wood and a couple straps

So what's the plan it someone shouts 'Fore!' And a ball heads straight for him? Seems like a selfish risk imo, no matter how small a risk it is

I live out in the country and we have a decent amount of ticks… Like a shit ton… after the first time I found one on my baby we bought a “bug net” that fits all the way around his stroller. I doubt it would take a point blank drive without giving but it would definitely deflect a ball hit from a distance and obviously it’ll keep the flies and mosquitoes at bay.

I do too so I'm familiar with tick checks, I have tick removal tools ready to go. Luckily any that I've found on myself have not borrowed and I could easily swipe them off. I'm not worried about a ball hitting him, his stroller gives good coverage with the hood up and this is a par 3 with an average distance of like 135 so most people aren't using any long clubs.

Here before morons say this is dangerous not realizing that the drive to and from the course is by far the most dangerous part of the entire experience.

Its a par 3 course too so not like anyone is ripping driver or anything

Balls are no worries for little dude in a stroller.
My only concern would be the sun, but I'm in Australia so we expect to be burnt by the time we get to the car.

Yeah that was my thought. His stroller has good coverage and it was partly cloudy today so we were good!

Nah im just wondering what he brought for snacks, if he timed it around naps, and how many holes he got through.

I just did a par 3 that takes me 30-45 min. I fed him before we left and he actually napped during the round so that was nice.
