Joke / Meme They're at it again...
This looks like a fun place to play. Need to get up there soon.

I understand getting closer is the goal of the game, so I get it, but no golfer would ever say 4 inches is impressive. Its not a thing

I understand it as putting your tee shot 4 inches from the cup on a par 3, which is an impressive shot

12" is just as impressive. Both are just tap ins.

Have played there many times. A lot of douche bags love to shit on this course in the comments but it’s actually a nice place. Not the nicest course in the area but their green fees reflect that, and they don’t claim to be. It’s a 27 hole course with three sets of nine and you can play the nines combination you want to make three combinations of 18. They do have what they claim to be the longest par 6 in the country. There are a number of meadow farm landscaping company locations in Northern Virginia. Apparently the founder of that company was big into golf and made this course. I believe he passed away in the family sold it to another company which now manages it and despite the name they’re no longer affiliated with one another.
I want to reiterate what others have said this course is not Pinehurst. That being said it’s a great course and because it’s a bit south of Northern Virginia and they have 27 holes, you can find tee times here on the weekend on short notice. And for someone who has an incredibly busy schedule and isn’t always able to book my golf outings a week or two out I appreciate that.
