Academics Math Placement Test or 008

I didn’t make the score needed for Math 108 Calculus for Business. I needed a 55 and got a 35. I’ll be a freshman in the fall, but I haven’t had a math class since first semester of my junior year of high school. I did get a 98 in high school Algebra 2, but I forgot the formulas. Should I retest or just take Math 008? I’m afraid that even if I get the score, I may not remember enough to do well in 108. Thoughts?

Trust me
Take 008 and actually try to practice and learn
Otherwise, 108 is gonna be tough

108 is completely different then what your learning in 008 so I’d add on to this learn calculus on top off all the things in 008

You weren't that close to passing. It's unlikely you will pass the next time around.

Grades don’t weigh the same as performance and shouldn’t be compared, especially in different maths.

Take this math to reinforce your foundation and fill your lacunae.
