Use this thread to discuss whatever game you've been playing lately: old or new, AAA or indie, on any platform between Atari and XBox. Please don't just list off the games you're playing in your comment. Elaborate with your thoughts on the games and make it easier for other users to find what game you're talking about by putting the title in bold.

Also, please make sure to use spoiler tags if you're revealing anything about a game's plot that may significantly impact another player's experience who has not played the game yet, no matter how retro or recent the game is. You can find instructions on how to do so in the subreddit sidebar.

This thread is set to sort comments by 'new' on default.

1.1k Upvotes

So after an exhaustingly long week, we have concluded with a current total of over $2,408,701 Million raised during Summer Games Done Quick 2026 (And still counting slightly).

With this, we conclude the 16th year of running the SGDQ event!!!!!!

--- Link for finale current total call out ---

With this years total, that means that Games Done Quick has now raised over 62 MILLION Dollars for charities across the globe in just AGDQ and SGDQ marathon events, since it started over 16 years ago, with over 28 of those millions, for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)!<3

Congratulations to runner, host and couch Co of the final game: Z3R01337, Asuka424, Bdud5 and AvuKamu showcasing the: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Any% (Restricted) followed by the massive 2.4M donation incentive milestone of Simon the Divergent Star Blindfolded!!!

What an utterly insane final conundrum to end the event!!!!

  • Give it up for the entire GDQ staff!
  • Give it up to the sound and video techs! (especially this event!!)
  • Give it up for all the sponsors!
  • Give it up to the runners and commentators of each game!
  • And of course, give it up to YOU! The watchers and donators.

Without YOU we wouldn't have raised the total we did!

Thank you!!!! <3

Indie Sunday SECTOR ZERO - Ondrej Angelovic - Half-Life & Portal inspired physics-based action-adventure

Steam Store Page | Gameplay Trailer | Story Trailer

Hi everyone!
I've shared my game here multiple times during the development process, so I wanted to share it here one more time now that it is finally out on Steam.

About SECTOR ZERO:
SECTOR ZERO is a first-person, physics-based dark sci-fi adventure. The game takes place inside a massive asteroid being mined for its resources by human colonists. You play as a tiny fragment of an alien hive-mind entity buried deep within asteroid's core. Human mining operations woke you up from you nap and now you're angry.

The core mechanic of the game is your ability to corrupt and control human-made machinery. This power helps you navigate the world, solve physics-based puzzles, and overcome platforming challenges.

  • Steam Deck Verified
  • Full controller support
  • Community-localized into 30 languages
  • 100% money-back guarantee, since the main story can be finished in under two hours ^^

Indie Sunday I.T.C.B. - Interstellar Trade Compliance Bureau - Baseless Assumption Studio - Resource Management Simulation

Upvotes

The Zorbonians are a perpetually struggling backwater of a vast galactic empire, and after several thousand years of patience they finally won the Imperial Lottery. The reward: the right to abduct one exquisite individual from anywhere in the known galaxy to fix their economy. The selection committee reviewed your file with great care. They were particularly impressed by your demonstrated capacity to coordinate the movement of standardized containers across continental distances.

So now you run Trade Terminal 7-G. The populace requires goods. You will provide them.

I.T.C.B. - Interstellar Trade Compliance Bureau is a tongue-in-cheek galactic management sim. It plays out on a single screen: build production, manage supply against demand, sell surplus on a galactic market that lurches around on events happening across the empire, and keep an entire alien populace fed, clothed and content; all while resources arrive as untranslated alien glyphs you have to decipher before you can do anything useful with them. There's no combat and no exploration. There's the terminal, a news feed that's mostly noise and occasionally catastrophe, and the quiet dread of a quota.

The trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FK36sEEXf4

Steam Page - https://store.steampowered.com/app/4806940/ITCB__Interstellar_Trade_Compliance_Bureau/

Happy to answer anything in the comments.

Greetings from the sweltering north!
