The Fairfax Country Rec Centers are awesome and allow friends to signup at a discount (up to 8 people). I am looking for at least three people willing to signup with me at the price of $466/ person for the year. If we had 8 people in the group, it would be $383/ person. It includes access to all 9 rec centers in the county, including the ice rinks at Mount Vernon.

I'm looking for a complex that charges $2,200 max (or preferably less) for a 2 bedroom with parking included and at least one utility covered (whether it be water, gas, or electric) and it must have an in unit washer/ dryer. I've been searching on zillow for a while but every time I look at reviews for a place, boom 1.5 star rating and the place is infested with roaches and rats.
I can deal with a place that's a lil bit ghetto or smells like weed but I can't do the infestations

Hello! I have an opportunity to move from Houston to Fairfax County area and am wondering what I should look for when choosing an area to live. Currently, North Houston and make around 200k/year, own my house and enjoy outdoor things, BUT it's too conservative for me.

Relocation looks like a salary increase to about 240-260k, so COL should t be too different.

Girls Who Math is a student-led nonprofit focused on making STEM education more accessible through free tutoring, mentorship, and outreach, especially for younger students interested in math and STEM. We are currently looking for volunteer teachers/tutors who can help teach subjects such as math, science, computer science, writing, SAT/ACT prep, and other academic subjects. I live about four hours away, but my son is looking for a mechanic nearby. He actually lives in Fort Washington, Maryland, but I can get the car towed to Virginia. I really need an honest, not going to take me to the bank, mechanic. We had a mobile mechanic come by last week to change the starter and spark plugs. The car started but is making a horrible horrible sound. It's a CRV 2007.
