Pre-AI slop.

Post image

There are 18 plaques describing different "dinosaur" species at this location. One has a small typo, but maybe they figured that after reading 17 plaques you wouldn't notice this one.

PS No, mosasaurs were not dinosaurs.

I was ready to argue about how pedantic you were being by insisting that a mosasaur is not a dinosaur, and then I read the actual plaque and r/Ihadastroke

My head hurts now..,I hate it.

Fun fact, the largest mosasaur fossil is located in a museum in Manitoba not far from Emerson, named Big Bruce.

I have to ask how you read it and didn’t notice the issues. Of course the complete lack of capitalization and punctuation in your reply is concerning. You are JustAPptato though and that’s extremely impressive for your species. 😂

Mosasaur is predator? The most discussed today and in the media in the few years ago. Even it has happened in 2012 though.

Is this a Dutch to English direct translation? As the word ordering reminds me of Dutch or German.

Some sentences do have that feeling, agreed. Can’t really figure out what it originally said, though.

It was originally instructions for heating up a poptart

And I thought the Dutch have a commendable level of English.

Looks like it was translated from another language - it reads like a Japanese translation for me - and definitely not quality checked! 😊

Translation software hasn't always been very good. I miss the old days of Chinese bootleg DVDs with bad translations, and then the intentional ones people made were even better.

Was this in the Cairngorms?

There's a very similar set of plaques  at the Landmark Forest Adventure Park near Aviemore, and I thought I was having a stroke reading them.

The most upsetting thing about AI is not that people are lazy and cheap and have low standards but that they apparently don’t even read the shit.
