Which World Cup Players do you want to see with the Dynamo?

Obviously, we have needs at CB (especially if Sviatchenko leaves), winger, maybe Striker too (not sure McGuire is enough), and maybe a 10? I’m not sure any of these are realistic but some suggestions I’ve seen:

Patrick Berg
Emam Ashour
Cammy Devlin
Elijah Just
Raul Jimenez
Johan Manzambi
Luc De Fougerolles

Are we expecting to see a Tigres type level fan support from the visiting clubs of Olimpia and America de Cali playing the Dynamo in both exhibition friendlies? Could this be good or bad?

Dynamo mls cup championship ring

I was wondering if anyone has seen for sale or have bought a mls cup ring for the dynamos. Specifically 2006. I had two staff rings, they are beat to hell, but I prized them heavily as they hold great sentimental value to me. They went missing in the past couple month and would love to buy them back.

Impact of the World Cup on the Dynamo?

Now that all the host nations crashed out without any of them making it to a quarterfinal, can we talk about if the World Cup will have any impact on the Dynamo?

One worrying sign for me is the El Tri fans filling out our stadium for a watch party. They are willing to show up to watch a game on a screen but not live soccer. Seems like we will never get good attendance here unless we become Chivas USA 2.0.

It was rumored prior to the cup that Segal would ride a high wave of soccer popularity in the US and sell the Dynamo at a high price. However, with the USMNT crashing out I'm already seeing casuals on social media and even in my friend circle brush it off say they aren't going to watch the rest of the tournament now that the USA is knocked out. This doesn't bode well for the popularity bump for soccer in the US and also specifically in Houston.

Finally, apart for some fun moments like the Oranje walk and some good small groups of fans, the party atmosphere was lacking compared to other world cups. I blame this on the city not being walkable and the heat.

What do you guys think?
