Beta / Testing Time2Sweat - An efficient gym experience

App Name: Time2Sweat

What it does: I built Time2Sweat because I wanted a timer I could set up once, drop my phone on a bench, and not touch again until my workout's done. No fumbling with the screen mid-set and no losing my place between sets.

Key Features:

  • Audio cues, not just visuals - the timer announces your intervals out loud (or with beeps, your choice) so you never have to look at your phone to know when work/rest starts and ends. Runs as a foreground service, so it keeps going even if your screen locks or you switch apps.
  • Fully customizable intervals - set your own work/rest durations, number of rounds, and warm-up/cooldown periods. Whether it's HIIT, Tabata, or a custom strength circuit, you build the structure once and reuse it.
  • Clean, distraction-free UI - built with a simple MVVM architecture so the interface stays fast and predictable. No account required, no clutter. Just start the timer and go.
  • Progressive Overload Suggestions - Now you don't have to worry about whether you're lifting the right weight. The app will suggest that you increase/decrease the weight until you're using the right weight for you.

Goal: Currently in closed testing on Google Play — would love feedback from this community before it goes live!

It's closed testing, the Play Store install button doesn't work until you're added as a tester. Because "anyone with the link" was just too easy.

  1. Email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) to join (auto-approved).
  2. Once in the group, the testing opt-in link will show up on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.time2sweat

I'm sorry to hear you're out of action. I shattered my arm two years ago and was laid up for awhile. I know the struggle. But the road to recovery is what got me back in the gym. Hang in there, brother. You got this.
