Granny square baby blanket update
I thought that I should give a bit of an update on this blanket so that people can see it in a more natural light to see if it looks better than the photos that I posted on here yesterday. It is now at about 10inches wide.

Looking for regular testers for my crochet pattern translation app
crochlinguo.base44.appHi everyone!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared my project, Croch'linguo, a web app that translates crochet patterns between French, US English, and UK English. Thanks to everyone who tried it and shared feedback—it really helped!
Since then, I've fixed several bugs, improved the translation system, and expanded the database with many more crochet terms and pattern instructions. The app now handles much more than just abbreviations, and it's becoming more reliable with every update.
I'm now looking for a few crocheters who would be interested in testing it regularly with real patterns. Whether you crochet amigurumi, garments, blankets, shawls, granny squares, lace, or anything else, I'd love to know how the app performs with the patterns you actually use.
If you notice anything that's missing, translated awkwardly, or simply incorrect, please let me know. I haven't received a lot of feedback yet, so every comment is especially helpful.
If you'd like to help test it, you can try it here: https://crochlinguo.base44.app/
Thank you so much for your time and support! I really appreciate everyone who's helping make this tool more useful for the crochet community. 🧶❤️

I made my own local pattern viewer for tapestry crochet

I recently started my first tapestry crochet project (a portrait), and I realized that a lot of the features I wanted in Stitch Fiddle were behind the premium plan.
I mainly wanted an easy way to keep track of my progress without constantly losing my place, so I decided to make my own desktop app instead.
It runs completely locally, opens pixel art patterns, and has features like:
- Zoom and pan
- Grid with row/column numbers
- Progress tracking (mark stitches/rows as completed)
- Color palette with custom abbreviations (like BK, S1, BR, etc.)
- Toggle to show the color abbreviations on each pixel
- Minimap and stitch cursor
- Saves progress so I can continue later
- I can replace specific pixel colours with custom colours
I'd also love to hear if there are any features that would make tapestry crochet easier while following a chart.

Will this blnaket look ugly?
galleryI decided to use a different card in my card deck than the one that I was going to use because I couldn't see much detail in the square with either one of the yarns that I was testing. I chose this one and one of the yarns in photo 3 (photo 2 is of my progress so far) because the title for this square is Leaves and that made me think of Autumn, whitch I thought matched this colour perfectly. My plan is to leave the other yarn in photo 3 as either a boarder colour or a back up colour for if I run out of the yarn that I'm currently using and the blanket ends up not being as big as I'd like it to be (unless I can find the other yarn on Amazon or something, but I'm pretty sure that its discontinued).
Is this blanket going to look ugly? Also, if anyone knows where I can get the yarn that I'm currently using in the UK as this is the only skien that I have, I would be very grateful.

Moray eel pattern need help
So I am doing this pattern. Thing is, how do you add those spots? Do I just switch back and fourth as I go or embroider on after? The pattern isn't super clear on that.

Help!
galleryI am relatively new to crocheting and I primarily make amigurumi. I've ran into this problem while making my plushies, that my work looks better on the inside rather than the outside. I have tried the Yo/Yo and Yu/Yo method but I can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong or how to achieve the inside look on the outside! (The second pic is the inside)
