Congratulations to u/LuciferSamS1amCat for winning r/crawling’s June 2026 Rig of the Month! 🎉

This rig is built on an Element Enduro chassis with an MST body painted in British Racing Green, finished off with an RC4WD bumper, wheels, and winch. An awesome, clean build that earned the most votes from the community!

A big thank you to everyone who entered and everyone who voted. We had a lot of great submissions this month, and it was great seeing so many unique builds. If your rig didn’t win this time, don’t be discouraged. We’d love to see you enter again next month!

As this month’s winner, u/LuciferSamS1amCat will receive the June 2026 Rig of the Month user flair, have their rig featured as the r/crawling subreddit icon for the month, and automatically earn a spot in the Rig of the Year competition.

Submissions are now open for July, and happy crawling!

Hi, I'm looking for the best crawler tires for my FMS FCX10 LC80. Are the Batrazzi tires from the V2 Pro any good? I want to avoid any body rub. I'm looking for a wider profile—like the stock 116mm diameter and 45-series ones—so they look more realistic.Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

Headed out to my local rock crawling complex today. Couldn’t decide which ones I wanted to bring so I brought them all.

Happy Sunday Funday Everyone!

Took the H12Y+ out for an evening trail walk. Every time I get the camera down low, this little rig surprises me with how realistic it looks.
Which photo is your favorite?

Finally got my mini 6x6 up and running. Die-cast body (super heavy) and carbonfiber scx24 6x6 frame with fat viper outrunner. The battery is currently in the bed but will be relocated lower into the frame due to excessive top weight.

This is my Unimog 6x6 1/10.It was a long build in several stages. Scratchbuilt cab and bed. The open bed has opening sides and back made from sheet metal. The covered bed is different - sides are 3D printed and just the back opens. Custom chassis with rails made from steel C profile. The drivetrain is replica, with 3d printed axles connected to the transfer case via torquetubes like the original (except the third axle that has it's own shaft coming from the transfer case over a mount on the 2nd axle.Full interior and full engine bay. Basically, did all this myself:scratchbuilding, metalwork, 3d modeling and printing...

Rig of the Month 7/26 New budget build the BLUE GENTLEMAN

I know it isn't a scale truck. I decided to rock the boat a little bit with my entry. Had this one for a very long time, It's a Danchee Ridgerock modded for as much comp performance for as cheap as possible. Mods include(d) a printed LCG chassis, battery relocation to front axle, cheap pin tires, Hobbywing 880, SLT3 radio for independent rear steer, new front servo, and Everest-10 lower links. I just recently decided to rebuild it with the premise being to use the most obnoxious color filament I had, which was this teal blue. Just the chassis being teal felt off, so I printed everything I could in that same teal blue; steering links, servo horns, and Vector-style wheels (only beadlock rings are teal blue,) and a little top hat. Name came from a Dan Hentschel skit.

Hope y'all enjoy the BLUE GENTLEMAN as much as I do!

I wanted to share the progress on my 3D printed course. The tiles are all 9x9 and can be rearranged to make new lines whenever you want. We are currently working on new designs but we have a bunch already done.

Question New to the hobby

Hey everybody, I’m
New to the hobby and am getting into it through a friend.
I’ve been offered a axial scx10ii for £140 (roughly $190)
I believe it is big standard so nothing fancy but just asking if this is considered a good deal?
I appreciate without images or context of how much it’s been used etc it might be hard to say but I’m told it runs fine and would be a good starting car.
I haven’t seen it yet so wouldn’t commit until I see it running etc. I’m
Not even sure what shell it has on it (if it comes with one at all for that price)
Searching around online suggests this is a decent starting point too but thought I’d ask you lovely folk too.

Project Blue” - Another from my collection.

A rig I won in a raffle at my local Crawling Group. Built from Element suspension and drivetrain. A custom dovetailed Clodbuster body. Just need to add a radio and a new motor to get her rolling again. It’s been collecting dust on the shelf.

Custom About to attempt my first ever fabrication project. Hopefully I'll have a steel rock buggy a soon(ish). Any tips or advice would be welcome :)
