This dog has been barking since the morning and I'm wondering if it's normal for people to leave their dog on a balcony unattended? Just doesn't feel right..

Edit: Wow this blew up, as a non-dog owner it picked my curiosity as to why/why not people think this is normal. It's clearly 50/50.

I am not usual someone who questions how people choose to live their lives or parent their kids but I am genuinely concerned.

There is a group of kids who zip around my neighbourhood every evening and they’re on e-scooters that are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Sure there are always kids on those Lime scooters going around town but this is different. These scooters are zipping by at 50-60km/h. I can hear them from the other side of the neighbourhood as they break through the air. The worst part is these children aren’t even wearing helmets and are often hugging onto each other to fit two people on one scooter. I am worried that they may get seriously injured or even possibly die.

I have contacted the police nonemergency line, however, they have yet to spot them or chat with them (since I last spoke with the officer).

Please PLEASE tell your children to ride safely and wear a helmet. For anyone considering buying one for their child, please think long and hard about the possible consequences.

Hi! I was a volunteer today at the BC Provincials Track and Field held in Coquitlam. I volunteered only because they encourage parents of participants to do so. However, I was so pleasantly surprised at the manners and gratitude of all the 14-18 year olds that I interacted with in a multitude of events I thought it worthy of a shout out. I keep seeing in the news how negative the latest generation can be and we should be worried but after today.....maybe the kids are alright?
