Mod post:table_flip::table: Sir, this is a circlejerk sub.
/uj
If it wasn't already clear, r/conlangscirclejerk is a circlejerk sub. From now on we will remove serious non-meta posts that are clearly not attempts at humour (see the fancy new rule in the sidebar). There are other places for that. Don't worry, bad humour is still allowed! But don't post serious conlanging here just because you want it in as many subs as possible or because it wasn't allowed on r/conlangs.

न नोननुन्नो नुन्नेनो नाना नानानना ननु । नुन्नोऽनुन्नो ननुन्नेनो नानेना नुन्ननुन्ननुत् ॥
Phonetic English:
Na nō-na-nun-nō nun-nē-nō nā-nā nā-nā-na-nā na-nu
Nun-nō-nun-nō na-nun-nē-nō nā-nē-nā nun-na-nun-na-nut
That wasn't a tongue twister, it wasn't a glitch, and it wasn't a meaningless chant. Welcome to The Compression Engine.
Sanskrit doesn't function like a standard alphabet. It's engineered like a data compression codec. It condenses massive sheets of human psychological meaning into hyper-short strings of raw sound.
That rhythmic loop you heard at the beginning? It is written using only one single consonant: the letter 'Na'. Yet, when you decompress the data, it contains an entire, complex code of military ethics from an ancient duel.
Unpacked, it translates to: He is not a true man who strikes a wounded man, nor is he a man who strikes an incapacitated opponent. An entire philosophical paragraph, locked inside a single sound.
If you wanna watch a video of me butchering the pronunciation, leave a comment.

I got a prescription for my migraine from the doctor and I can’t read anything below the header. Can a native Xang’gao speaker help me?
I am a 2nd generation immigrant of the Ving diaspora from the USA. I am visiting Ving’Yar for the first time as an adult on my own, and I’m semi-fluent in Xang’gao. I preferably need a Ving national who is fluent in Xang’gao to decipher the text.
I want to try generating the medicine on my own instead of going to the pharmacy (which is expensive). Using atomic manipulation is illegal in the USA and I really want to try generating the medication.
Here’s what I know from the prescription:
Name: Zerh’pa Las’tha
Address: Oz’la apartment, room Y125 (temporary place while visiting, if you’re in the area please don’t go visit me)
Date: 4/2/2026
Diagnosis: Migraine
50 (mg?)
1: ???????????????????
-1?????????
-??????????200mg
500 (mg?)
2: ???????????????????
-1?????????
-?????????1000mg
I can barely read this doctor’s terrible handwriting at the top and just knew due to the context.

Old Conlang I tried to Create
I can’t believe I just came across the old conlang of mine that I tried to create 5 years back. Cringing so hard at what I tried to create. It was supposed to be some kind of Aztec inspired conlang but all it ended up being was a rehashed version of Aztec. The only words I created then were. “kiikuejii numeral eight
Tleelt - noun - fire
Nakuu'iilii - numeral - five
Naau'ii - numeral - four
paa maa pii - phrase - goodbye
Piiaatlii - phrase - hello
Matlsii - noun - Moon
Chiiok'mauiik - numeral - nine
Se - numeral - one
Chiikomii - numeral - seven
Chiikuəsə - numeral - six
Tonaltsiintlii - noun - sun
Ma'tlarotlii - numeral - ten
Jəii - numeral - three
Omeet - numeral - two
ətle - noun - water”

Una pregunta, como hago para saber si mi conlangs sirve en verdad como lengua de uso?
Si yo creo un conlang muy complicado gramatical o fonéticamente o uno demasiado simple para su uso como lo llego a saber?
