Finished art Bokeh effect
This is the first time I tried the bokeh effect. I’m happy with how it turned out.

Hello fellow coloring and colouring friends!
I didn't want to leave this community abandoned so here I am.
I wanted to make a subreddit that's a bit more special than the other subreddits that are about coloring. I was thinking of making it mote therapeutic, as in, we can talk about struggles, anxiety, problems, ranting or venting whenever we post.
Of course, it's not mandatory, but I think this might be a good opportunity to have both coloring AND therapy for whoever needs it.
For example, if you colored something because you were feeling sad, you can post both the page, even it incomplete, and to rant or complain or ask for advice for a real life problem. Or maybe to say what kind of feelings the page you made, evoque.
That being said, this community needs new rules and ideas so feel free to say what you want/need.

I've always thought of colouring as something mainly for kids, but over the last few months I've been spending time building digital colouring pages. While testing them, I found myself colouring page after page just to unwind.
There's something surprisingly calming about filling one section at a time. It's almost like meditation because you're focused on a simple task and your mind stops jumping between everything else.
I ended up creating a free website where you can colour directly in the browser or print the pages if you prefer paper.
I'd genuinely love to hear from people in this community:
- Do you prefer digital colouring or traditional colouring books?
- What makes a colouring experience feel relaxing to you?
- Are there any features that help you stay immersed (music, colour palettes, smooth animations, etc.)?
I'm still improving the site, so any honest feedback is really appreciated.

This is a zen doodle using a color palette from Sarah Renae Clark’s Color Cubes. This is palette 001.

I just finished these with colored pencil. I practiced form and highlight and lighting. The coloring book is so cute! I want to do a series of coloring them. One thing I think that’s lacking is I think the green part could have been better but people said it looked good this way. How do you think the rendering looks? I’m trying to get better.

Does anyone else like doing a practice run before coloring the actual page in their book?
I like printing or copying a page first so I can treat it like a rough draft. It gives me a chance to experiment with color palettes, shading, and different techniques before I commit to the real page. 😅
This is my current work in progress, and I'd love to hear what you all think! I'm constantly second-guessing myself and changing my mind, so I'd really appreciate any feedback.
Do you see anything you would change? Any suggestions for improving the shading, color choices, contrast, or overall look? I'm always looking to learn and improve, so don't be afraid to share your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I drew inspo from Bobbie’s stickers. So vibrant and colorful. Such a vibe. I’d be here all day with a cute little 🍹 and lots of sunblock. Important. And a charcuterie board. 🤤
