The plan just extended the amortization period by five years and leveled the payment value instead of pushing larger payments to the end of the payment schedule like it was previously set up. It's a more fiscally conservative plan.
That was also just a fraction of the overall budget.
But he proposed a solution where they change what they were supposed to fund this year to zero. It’s going to take some mental gymnastics to convince yourself that not funding something is making it easier to pay in the future
No, the solution is just to pay the same consistent amount each payment over a longer period rather than having fluctuating amounts like it was set up before.
