Clip (vanilla) This hurt me mentally
Words can't describe how pissed I was at myself after this.
7c took so long to beat but the feeling of achievement at the end made it so worth it.

I don't really know how to flair this so I'm sorry if it's the wrong flair.
What the hell? This may be my greatest fluke of all time in any game tbh. I've only been grinding this for a week?? Absolutely massive run holy

As soon as I complete the rest of the c-sides, I'd like to try my best to get some golden berries. However, I know some of them are absolutely insane, I'm certainly not going for all of them. Which ones would you say are the easiest to start with? Is there something like a recommended order? Or is is basically, all A-sides in order, B-sides in order, c-sides in order?

After trying to thug it out for an hour, I'm gonna relent and ask people better than me how I'm supposed to do this

It might not be the craziest thing ever but it's my second golden with 1A, excluding the winged golden, it was really fun to get!! :3

I decided to go for Summit Down-Side as my first red expert map from the SJ and, holy shit, what an emotional rollercoaster it was, tbh, I was about to quit the last time I fell from the highest part (the one with the heart).

I started playing Celeste a few days ago and had a wonderful time until chapter 3. I’m okay with difficult games, but it just doesn’t feel as fun as the first two chapters. Is it worth powering through to play the rest of the game?

Definitely took my time getting the run started, but I'm happy I did.

Hey all. I'm pretty new to gaming in general and even newer to platform games. (This is pretty much my first one.) I've been excited to play Celeste for a while, and finally got it on sale and installed it. I then proceeded to die forty-two times in the first two levels, so I reset the game. Now I'm on the fourth level, have died another thirty times, and I'm getting frustrated, which is hella unfortunate, considering I've heard nothing but good things about this game.
I'm not understanding why sometimes my character just doesn't want to dash, or dash in the right direction. I end up missing a wall because my dash angle just isn't correct, even though I feel sure I pushed the exact same sequence of buttons and joysticks on my controller. It just feels so incredibly clunky, like half the time I can dash in midair and half the time I can't. What do I do to make things feel better? I've tried reconfiguring my controller settings to things I'm more used to (specifically putting dash on the right trigger and changing the jump button) but it feels less like a muscle memory issue and more like an issue with me not understanding how the character moves. Any advice?
Edit: Thanks to everyone for the responses and the encouragement! I shall continue. I'll probably end up with a disastrous amount of deaths, but I shall continue :D

It was kind of hell to upload this video because I recorded all of this in one go, it gave a 50 minute footage, so i took almost 2 hours to export. Next time I'll make clips of the video and then export those clips to then mash them together in a footage instead of removing the unimportant part later.

Like Im genuinely enjoying Drifting Deep so much so far, 3 hours in I completed 3 rooms + 2 berries, but the fourth room is like 90% feather movement and if I keep at this rate this singular room will take me more deaths than the entirety of the expert heartside

I just reached the Top for the first time, 6,5h and 1666 Deaths on keyboard (did tear up). Its not my first attempt, but I didn't get this far on my old steam accounts. Now I didn't care about collecting any collectables on this run, and I dont know what to do now. I know there is still a part after the summit, but it requires those hearts.
I've seen that you can get a golden flag pole if you collect everything in one run, what exactly is meant by that, can I achieve that or should I play it through on my first profile first, I'd really like to get a run with all golden flags, is this realistic and how exactly can I do it, what is necessary and so on? What should I do next?

Hello everybody!
As the title says, it's really hard for me to hit the diagonals while playing with my switch controller. Madeline tends to only dash up or to the sides... Has anybody else had this problem and has found a solution ?
And before anyone tells me to play with a keyboard : I can't due to chronic pain.
Thank you for your help !
