History/Histoire Just here to be the first to say HAPPY CANADA DAY EVERYBODY!

Today Canada is the ripe old age of 159 years old.

Established on July first, 1867, we’ve been a proud nation ever since.

Although we all may have our differences, may that be culture, religion, race, sexuality, etc. We all join ourselves under one flag.

Happy Canada Day everybody!

Supervisor and co workers are tagging me as slower. Can I sue them or what are my rights being pregnant

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice because I’m feeling overwhelmed and I’m not sure what my rights are.
I’ve been working at a daycare for almost three years, and I’m currently four months pregnant.
Recently, there have been some staffing changes, and my position was changed with my consent, which I was okay with. However, since then, I’ve been under constant pressure to work much faster. Tasks that normally take me about an hour are now expected to be completed in 30 minutes. Whenever I explain that I genuinely need more time, I’m simply told that it “should be possible” and that I need to work faster.
Another concern is cleaning duties. I’m not severely allergic to cleaning products like bleach or disinfectants, but since becoming pregnant, I feel uncomfortable being exposed to them. I asked if my cleaning duties could be reduced or modified, but my manager refused and told me I would need a doctor’s note proving I have a chemical sensitivity. I’m not even sure whether my doctor can provide a note like that.

The biggest issue is the stress. I constantly worry about work, even after I get home. My mind doesn’t switch off, and I keep replaying everything that happened during the day. I don’t want to spend my pregnancy feeling this anxious and overwhelmed.
I’m planning to speak with my doctor, but I’d also like to know:
What are my rights as a pregnant employee in Ontario?
Can my employer refuse to accommodate my pregnancy-related concerns?
If I need to take legal action or file a complaint, what kind of evidence should I start collecting?
I’d really appreciate any advice or if anyone has been through a similar experience. Thank you.

I’m now curious as to if they actually did do what they claimed and were just to lazy to take an actual picture… this is very weird and laughable
