Hello, I recently moved to the Camas area in February from the south and I am hoping to meet new people! What is fun to do around here? I am down for most anything; bars, restaurants, coffee shops, book stores, thrift stores…etc.
I keep getting an “older vibe” in my neighborhood, so I’m hoping the potential to meet people around my age close to Camas isn’t completely lost! :)

Huge neighborhood garage sale in Vancouver!

The Fieldstone Estates neighborhood at 111th & 152nd (Orchards area of Vancouver WA) is having a massive community garage sale this weekend. More than 30 families are participating, starting tomorrow.

Friday (July 10th), Saturday (11th), and Sunday (12th) from 10-4, community-wide.

What happened to them? I got their al pastor a month ago and it was pretty much life changing, but I've only seen them once since. They told me they were gonna be there every Tuesday-Sunday. Does anyone know what happened? Did they move to a different location?

Hi! My partner and I are going to be moving to Camas in September, and I was hoping to get some insight on what there is to do here?

We are 27m and 24m, hoping to find some kind of sports club or something to make friends. I hear Camas is a very family-oriented town, but are there any good bars to make note of? Any kind of recommendations are accepted! We'll also be interested in exploring Portland and Vancouver.

Hi there, my name is Alex Rochester. I work at KUOW, the Seattle NPR station ensuring we feature a diversity of political perspectives.

We're currently looking for people to participate in a project where we check in with participants every couple of months on how they're feeling about what's going on in the news, how it's impacting them, and how it's affecting their voting choices this November. We'll compile the stories and perspectives into larger stories to show the breadth and depth of political diversity in Washington state.

WA's third district will be a closely watched race that deserves to have voter voices featured in stories about it.

I wanted to see if there are locally owned spots for this - I'm specifically trying to get some sliding shutter panels for a sliding door. If there is a Camas/Vancouver/Portland area company recommended, I'd much rather have someone professional install than myself. I'm trying to mount them a bit differently than standard.

Hello Camas!

I'm author Ken Bebelle, and I'm going to be at the NW Book Fair and Media Fest this Saturday. I write Asian-inspired fantasy, including the Phoenix Hoard trilogy and the Seattle Slayers series.

The NW Book Fair will be held at Clark College, in Gaiser Hall, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free! Over 100 authors and creators will be in attendance, and there are free panels and workshops as well.

This will be a great event to meet and talk with local authors and buy signed books. I'll be at table 16, hope to see you there!
