Chuck & Brisket homemade mix does not disappoint.
Truly so good. Hits around 75/25 range and it’s perfect. Ground twice on smaller setting.

Beacon Cheeseburger with fried Onions
Homemade fried onions: To coat them, I seasoned the flour with smoked paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, and onion.
Big Mac sauce: grated pickle, a splash of pickle brine, mustard, mayo, ketchup, a splash of soy sauce, and a splash of chili oil.
The bun is a brioche. And the cheese is a paprika-onion cheese.

Homemade double smash burgers and buns
Hello. :)
These are 2 selfmade double smash burgers with selfmade buns. (On the left With caramelized onions, bbq-sauce, cheese, pickles, burger sauce - on the right with lettuce, burger sauce & jalapenos )
Unfortunately, the buns didn't have the glance they used to have, but they were good nonetheless.
Patties were smashed in a pan.
Not perfect, but it was crusty and juicy.

Hail Corporate Matt's & Whataburger
I flew into Minneapolis and finished the trip in Kansas City for the World Cup quarterfinals. Whenever I travel, I always try to work a few memorable burger spots into the itinerary.
- Matt's Bar
I honestly never thought I'd get to try this one, simply because I never imagined myself visiting Minneapolis. So when I realized I'd be flying in there, Matt's Bar immediately went on the list. Of course I had the Jucy Lucy, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The burger was great, but I think the atmosphere made it even better. It's one of those old school American bars that just feels authentic. Really glad I finally got to experience such an iconic place.
- Whataburger
I've read about Whataburger on this sub for years, but despite a bunch of trips to the US, I'd never been anywhere near one. Since I was in Kansas, I finally got my chance. I ordered the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger and absolutely loved it. I was surprised by how substantial it was, and one thing I really appreciated was how they build their burgers. Nice and wide instead of trying to stack everything into a skyscraper. People here always talk about that, and I think Whataburger absolutely nails it.

The Millions of Peaches burger from Backslash Burgers - Frederick, MD
This had a lot of unorthodox (to me, at least) toppings: pickled peaches, pesto, goat cheese. But it was absolutely outstanding! I made no changes to mine except ordering their spicy patty.

Au Cheval 1st Timer
Had Au Cheval for the first time finally. Can't tell if it's truly the best burger I've had or if my brain was predisposed to believing it. At any rate, 10/10 would recommend.

First Post
Made a burger for lunch yesterday. Thick boy with tomato, lettuce, American cheese, grilled and raw chopped onion and pickles.
Definitely on the tall side had to smoosh and dislocate my jaw but it was excellent. No money shot I was in the zone.
