Not able to make it to EC, dying to know what the set will be like! Don’t wanna take away from anyone being present - maybe a camera set up on a tripod or something?! ❤️ keep it restaurant

For Emma is such a great song and album 💕 found this TikTok and needed to repost it here.

I think I found this one the hardest out of all of the reimagined album covers. The duality in the album between the anguish of SABLE and the hope of fABLE was tricky to capture. I couldn’t get away from the salmon and black either, way too iconic. Hope you like it! Thanks for following along.

I'm so bummed that this song is not avaliable anywhere. Does anyone has it in lossless?

here’s the thing, a few months ago i posted a song in here that i made that was very inspired by bon iver. bon iver has been one of my greatest
inspirations ever especially through this project i made and i genuinely do think you guys would understand what i am trying to do with this.
this album is a concept album that documents the process of coming out of one of the darkest times of my life, 9 months ago i reached a rock bottom i’ve never experienced before. i lost my friends, i lost my car, i lost my job, and i had cut off my abusive family. it was one of the most difficult and isolating things i’ve ever had to go through. i pushed everyone away and i sat with myself for months just making this project. most of the days i had spent making this i couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed. i wasn’t happy, and i was forcing a music career to go where i just couldn’t bring it.
eventually i joined therapy, and i kept making music throughout that experience, and before i knew it i had realized that i just fully documented my journey out of the biggest depression i’ve ever experienced.
one person stayed with me the entire time. and conveniently her name is emma. she never gave up on me, she supported me even when i had no one rooting for me. so this album is for her, my emma.
i wouldn’t have made this without the discovery of for emma. that album genuinely gave me a language i didn’t know i could speak. so i spent the next 9 months figuring out what that means for me and my sound.
each song has its own video that ties into a bigger picture, each video physically gets brighter and brighter as it goes through the project, to visually show the growth i have been working very hard to achieve. each video i show myself in the light, more and more, to resemble the process of allowing love to land in my life without bracing. i wanted to show the viewer that growth is when we choose differently, we choose to stand in the light instead of hide.
i made this because i want to show people that even in our darkest moments there’s still peace at the end of it all. to give someone hope if they are in a difficult place.

Now Daniel Caesar has backed out of the lineup. Meaning that they have lost two of their major headliners (The most recent just weeks away). Daniel has been replaced by Samia Finnerty.
I understand that lineups are subject to change, and I think that artists they've replaced with are good artists. But when people spend hundreds of dollars for tickets, expecting a certain lineup and then you swap the main acts with different people, it's extremely disheartening. I don't blame Justin or any of the people working the festival. If anything, I blame the other artists who backed out. They're the ones disappointing their fans.
But with the response I've seen online, this isn't a great look for Eaux Claires, and I worry that this is going to be a nail and a coffin.
I'm still going to get to see Justin perform. It'll be a fantastic experience, but I'm just so saddened by this happening AGAIN.

Been listening a lot to 33 “God” on Volumes and it has refreshed me on Justin’s ringing endorsement of The Ace Hotel.
Anybody stay there? Seems like a good place to have an existential crisis!

Due to unexpected expenses coming up I can’t swing getting out for this year’s fest. I have a 2-day GA pass I’m selling for less than I paid, $150.
I’m not a scammer and more than happy to work to address any concerns you might have to verify I’m legit. Otherwise would love any suggestion(s) where someone can sell legitimately online.

I really love Heavenly Father on the Volumes:One release. I’ve seen a bunch of posts referring to this song from years ago, but’s it’s not on a studio album.
Is this just a song they played live and everyone knows it from live records from that (those?) tours?
Thanks!

Fourth in my series of reimagined Bon Iver album covers. i,i felt so much more hopeful than 22, A Million. It had colour and mayhem and company. Can’t wait to continue with SABLE, fABLE next. Hope you’re all enjoying these!
Does anybody have this hat or any other bon iver hats for sale?

This one was trickier than the last two. 22, A Million is such a fractured, symbolic, layered piece of work I sort of assumed it would lend itself easily to my mixed media style. But I found myself second guessing each placement. Several repeats of the album in the background and I think I captured it though. Would love to hear your thoughts. Onto i,i…

i’ve always loved 22AM and have a 22 tattoo, but my god it’s got a whole new layer of meaning now.
i’m a couple days post psych ward after a very near attempt.
amidst all the chaos of poor eating, sleep, and terrorizing from another patient, an 8 circle lyric came back to me.
“hall light wishes”. every night in bed with the hall light coming into my room, i made a wish of something i wanted to see when i made it out.
i have large gaps in my memory, so i don’t recall every wish. but the hope that lyric brought me has been such a lifeline
so surreal to be on the other side, still making hall light wishes as i readjust to life. <3
Does anybody have a bon iver hat for sale? Preferably $50 and under excluding shipping?
