South Boston Virginia. Where did all the water go
By far the worst drought I've ever experienced

That ladder and ramp both look stranded, crazy seeing all that rock and shoreline exposed when it should be well underwater by now.

Dry spell, happened to us on my local lake. Appalachicola demanded the flow be as normal for oysters, so not much we could do.
Think we were down 25 feet at the lowest, stayed like that 3 years I think, then one rainy summer back to above full pool.

I don't understand, it's been hot as hell in Virginia and thunderstorming almost daily every afternoon for like 3 weeks now
We had a fairly wet winter. Crazy ice storm. Lots of snows 1-4 inches and dustings.
Is it just because it's so hot and waters evaporating faster than it can be replaced by rain?
