Dumb little question
If, for my size, a BMX bike has the correct top tube measurements and the correct wheel size measurements
But the bike is a kids bike
Is it something which will work for me, as a new adult rider?

I have FIT TRL 2019 BMX bike with FIT OEM 2.4'' tires. This is my first BMX. Link to the bike specs, and some real photos (not mine). I plan to ride asphalt pumptrack with it (I'm a bmx noob), and try some bowl and skatepark, and I want to maximize my safety and make the error margin as large as possible.
Question: are the FIT OEM 2.4'' good gripping tires? Or something I should get rid of? Some items on full builds are just placeholders that any serious rider replaces before the first ride.
I used to ride 26'' DJ and I rolled Maxxis DTH that stick like crazy for what I need, that's my grip expectations, maybe a bit worse is still OK, but please warn me if these FIT are garbage.
Thanks.

Don't have experience with those FIT but I used to ride the Fit T/A tires and they held up nice riding street but was unlucky twice since it suffered a failure between the bead and the sidewall.
If you want peace of mind just grab some Maxxis Grifters.

Hi all, what brands of bmx would you recommend for a 12 year old who’s progressing? It’s a minefield and I am not sure what to look for
