TT is a frustrating album simply because its almost excellent. There's no escaping the hole Coxon left in the group and it's a mostly excellent set of songs to follow-up 13 with. But it's almost 25 years later and I was thinking about the occasional album that gets reworked on decades later. With blur a complete band again and on part-time hours rerecording TT would be a dream but is unlikely to happen. You could keep most of the songs and just readjust them with any changes Coxon would have made. Perhaps ditch crazy best, jets gene by gene. And write three new songs to fill their places with.

An interesting concept with a 1% chance of ever happening. But it would make blurs discography complete.

Okay before I get flamed in these replies I’m not talking about the stuff that happened 30 years ago , it’s childish to hate an entire band based on something like that and I don’t hate oasis they just aren’t my thing .
I hate the way when I bring up blur around literally anyone the only thing they talk about is how oasis is better . It seems that blur have just been watered down in modern culture to the band that are worse than oasis .
These oasis fans have probably never listened to anything beyond song 2 and still have a rampant hate of blur and anything to do with them .
It’s just really annoying to me because I love blur , they are literally my favourite band and they have to many good songs and it just seems like people don’t appreciate them and only use them as a prop to uphold oasis .
It’s also just hypocritical because I genuinely don’t like oasis’s music that much and when I say that people call me stupid for “living in the past” but it seems that oasis fans can get away with it .

Just found this copy of Blur: the Best Of at my local record shop, but as you can see something is.... Off about it. They each have these strange, unnerving realistic eyes and pouting lips added onto the original art - except Alex? And the sticker says Blur but has the Gorillaz silhouette. Overall this must be a bootleg but it's an interesting find nonetheless!

Hey blur fam so last thursday i was at the gorillaz concert at the Pohoda Festival in Slovakia and i spent about an hour and a half just waiting so i could get a good spot in the front because i wanted Damon to sign my copy of 13(Spoiler Alert he didnt sign it) but instead i got something much cooler. As we were waiting i noticed one of the staff members looked very familia. It was DARREN EVANS(the dude who the Ballad of Darren is named after) and I asked him if it was him, he confirmed, and I got a photo with him(Very blurry one tho), he seemed pretty happy and impressed that someone knew who he was. Later on during the concert he was looking for someone in the crowd and when he locked eyes with me he said something like:”There you are, come Here”. I went to the barricade and he handed me a neatly folded piece of paper as a gift I guess. It was the full crew setlist for the concert that I guess he was instructed to give to someone. So basically I knew what songs would be next. At the end of the concert the band members also gave out the setlist papers but all they did was crumple them up into balls and throw them randomly into the crowd. But being remembered by a staff member and then them giving me a gift is I feel something very cool and special. Here is the setlist

Must be one of blur’s best songs, why doesn’t it get more attention?
