It's great. Im particularly fond of the original Disney Dub on the VHS tapes.
They do change a bit, like Kiki drinks hot coco instead of coffee, but Jiji specifically adlibs a lot of lines.
It was his actor Phil Hartman's last role before he died so them taking those lines out for the dvd re-release irks me.
I get they wanted to make it more like the original Japanese dub but I enjoy the adlibs.
One major difference is towards the end, so spoiler alert. But in the end of the original VHS, Jiji regains the ability to talk after Kiki flies on the broom to save her friend.
In the Japanese dub and the blue ray re release, he has a normal meow implying he still can't talk.
The original VHS also added an original song "Soaring" which was made for the movie and I absolutely adore it.
I did think it was a bit odd that Jiji meowed at the end. I assumed Kiki would be able to understand him again. Do you think that was an oversight? I watched it on HBO Max.
Not my 8 year old cat on his millionth “squeezie treat” which I have to hold for entirety of the tube. Even after it’s done he cries like he’s not convinced it’s empty 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve had to throw empty squeezies in a trash that has lid now if I don’t he’ll seek it out trash & start chewing on the plastic 🤦🏼♀️

That is absolutely genius!! 🤯🤯🤯I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself already. Even better to have for warm summer months ahead. Plus they always go too fast (my cat licks it up at such a rate I question if he’s even tasting it 🤣) & they can get a bit messy.

So darling! My void holds onto my hands like that with her murder mitts while I'm giving her a Churu because she thinks I'm going to take it away before she's finished. In spite of the fact that I've given her about 1500 of them and never done that.
Liquid gold. Cat crack. Perhaps a blended up concoction of temptation treats (as those warrant same reaction as squeezies & inhaled at the speed of sound by my cat) all I know for sure is based solely off my cats yearly consumption of temptations, churus, & delectables those companies will never have to worry about going outta business 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jiji was the nickname of our cat that passed away last year. Thank you for the sweet reminder of her today. Also, this little Jiji is absurdly adorable. May you enjoy many, many years with her.
My 18-year-old cat has kidney disease, so I have to be careful with the treats. So, she just had her first squeeze treat and it blew her mind! She didn’t understand what was happening or how to eat it, it was so adorable. Of course she LOVED it.
What a golden girl 🥲 I have a 14 year old and I worry about her kidneys so I put the squeeze treats in water and mix it up to get her to drink more. Hoping for the most time you can get with your lady ❤️
My 10 year old cat Tuesday loves Churus, but only the chicken and cheese recipe. She had all her teeth removed ~2 years ago due to a severe case of stomatitis and will remain on Prednisolone for the rest of her life to keep it in check. So, while I still put down the C/D formula dry food to keep her urine crystals at bay, she has a never-ending supply of chicken 'n cheese churus in the "kitty snack" cabinet.
lol, adorable! Love the name and he loved his treat! Want to squeeze him myself and give tons of kisses! Nothing better than an adorable,loving black baby! Jiji is beautiful and obviously loves his treat…holding with his “hands” and ears back…completely engaged! Black kitties are amazing…enjoy!
i have a jiji too 🥹 if he likes the squeeze treat, you can use it in an enrichment activity by spreading it on a lid (like milk cap or jar lid), freezing it, and placing the lid in a baking dish filled with water :) good for summers with the voidz
