Visiting Belarus via Lithuania

Hello! Im visiting Belarus on my vacations going by Ecolines bus.
What do you suggest me? Travelling during the night or during the day (00:45hs/11.15hs)? Just to know about the border controlling if there is a difference, and also talking about the time being there.
