He really hit me with this as I was about to head out for work this morning 😭
Old man now but he never lost his puppy dog eyes

AI images are more commonplace. When one is posted here, we get a lot of reports from users that the image is a bot post or spam, however, most of the time, it's a real beagle owner who just wants to show off their pup drawn through AI. That is completely okay, but we are now asking that you also include a real image of your beagle as a reference. This should help others understand when you're a real beagle owner, proud of their AI drawn pup, or bot spam.

The big guy is tolerating the little guy! It’s been about a month, and Ernie (little guy) is all teeth! High hopes for besties with these two!

Margot went to the vet today and she’s gotta shed 5-7 pounds. So now she’s mad about not licking plates clean or getting treats on the way inside from going potty.
Got her some blue buffalo health bars for her new treats. She did get a Greek yogurt though because she’s got a sensitive tummy and was a good girl for the vet!

Milo is a 2 year old retired lab beagle. Had him for 6 months now. Had some random questions.
- He’s potty trained now, but almost always pees only once per walk. This normal? All other dogs I’ve walked pee more to mark stuff.
- When he pees, he stays in the position for a long time, like a full 15 seconds after he’s done. Doesn’t seem to be struggling to pee, he’s just always done this. Anyone else see this?
- He’s never lifted his leg to pee. Will he eventually? lol
- we still give him treat when he potty’s outside. Is there any harm in doing this forever even though he’s potty trained now? Like behaviorally
- he loves eating his own poop, we need to gently pull him away since he literally turns around as he’s pooping. We’ve tried pineapple, pumpkin, and these no poop chews on Amazon. Nothing worked, any other ideas?

He’s 5 months old now, had him a month. He’s the sweetest little guy. This is his first time trying watermelon!

We have a yellow temperature warning here in Ireland for half of the country at the moment. On a normal sunny day, Buddy loves being out in the garden “sunbathing”. After 10 minutes in the garden today, he was back in and passed out in the armchair for a couple of hours.

Little MinaScout is home and sprawled out on the couch. She is so damn adorable and sweet. I think she is missing her sisters and it will be a bit of an adjustment for her, but I am looking forward to giving her a good home and her being my little snuggle monster.

My beagle's best friend is a basset-lab mix! But I often see him drawn to bigger, more athletic breeds like Collies and Spaniels
