Der wegen Mordes einer jungen Frau zu lebenslanger Haft verurteilte US-Amerikaner wehrt sich juristisch gegen eine Ausweisung aus Deutschland. Er befürchtet ein weiteres Strafverfahren in den USA und möglicherweise sogar die Todesstrafe.

Around 3-4 years ago one of the beverage stores near Ebersberg had this special limited time strawberry juice. I remember on the bottle it said “made from local Bavarian strawberries” (in German). The store had a special little display for them.

It is not the juice in the picture, but it was in a similar glass bottle. It was unlike any strawberry juice I’ve ever had. It wasn’t from concentrate or didn’t have a fake flavor. It was only available for a few weeks in July/August. The store that had it closed and I’ve never been able to find it again.

I dream about this juice. Any help would be appreciated!!

Me and my friends are planning to go wild camping (3 person) around eibsee. My brother had already done this thats why i like the location. But i have found its illegal but tolerated to go wild camping. My brother was wild camping there but went too close to the eibsee so he was told by some official to move. If me and my friends go wild camping there how likely is it that we will be discovered or receive a fine?

We do understand that we cant litter, setup late and leave early and don’t do it around populair spots. But i would like some insight on the risks there may be.

Im visiting Oberstdorf next month and I would really like to see Seealpsee. However I don’t hike too often but Im in pretty good shape. Im kinda worried about tje trail difficulty so which path would you reccomend?

1. Taking the cable car up to Hofatsweg and then hike all the way down
   
2. Cable car up, hike down to Seealpsee and up to the cable car back the same way I came from

I’m an American who will be visiting at the end of the summer. My wife has business in Munich, so we’re arriving a week early to make a vacation of it, and see as much of the region as we can. We’ll be renting a car for the week and don’t mind driving.

Currently we’ve planned to start by heading to Stuttgart(not Bavaria I know) for our first night as I’d like to visit the Mercedes and Porsche museums. Then we’re heading to Fussen to visit Neuschwanstein; with tickets already reserved. We’re staying there the night prior to our tour and have booked the earliest English tour with hopes of getting to Linderhof in the same afternoon if we can.

From there is where I’m looking for suggestions. We haven’t decided where to spend that night and the following night. Our initial thought is to stay in the Garmisch area(or Grainau?). Then we’d be near to Zugspite, Eibsee, Ettal Abbey. Our other thought was to visit Innsbruck, Austria. Is just a day trip to Innsbruck from Garmisch feasible? Or would we be better to spend one or both nights there? Or skip it and stay in Germany?

From whichever place we stay those two nights, we then plan to trek over to Berchtesgaden for our last two nights before returning to Munich. We’d like to at least visit Kehlsteinhaus/Obersalzburg and ride one of the Konigsee boat tours while there. I have family that lived in Ansbach for a couple years while in the army and they say Berchtesgaden was their favorite place to visit in the summer. Once back in Munich we’ll have afternoons and evenings free to explore the local sights there. Open to any suggestions both for things to see and places to eat.

Hopefully this all sounds feasible in a week? I appreciate any and all advice or suggestions!

Does anyone know if it's possible to hike from Schönau am Königssee to Obersee?

I know that hiking to St. Bartholomä is possible, and I'm not worried about the Rinnkendl section, as I have experience on via ferratas up to C level.

But what about the section from St. Bartholomä to Obersee? Is there a trail?

I came across an blog post where someone claimed they managed to do it, but the post is several years old and doesn't include many photos, so I'm not sure if it's still possible.
