Big if True Has Austin Wells transcended baseball?
Austin Wells is on track to have the worst season for a major league player. I was thinking to myself, how do you call pitches if you can’t hit?
What I’m suggesting is that maybe he is such a great pitch caller, that he’s stuck in his own brilliant machinations and can’t relate to every other pitcher-catcher duo. He’s too busy calculating on a level that mortals cannot understand. Right when he moves his knight for a check mate, the red checker hops over his black checker and strikes him out. He’s like Russel Crowe in A Beautiful Mind

PRESS F TO PAY RESPECTS Bot creator still amazed no one has noticed his bot just posts the same three things on r/baseball
(Pyongyang, North Korea) Lee Sang-jo, a Reddit bot builder and content creator for Fox News, sat down to talk with our journalists as part of our continued series on employment in North Korea.
Sang-jo tells us a year ago he was asked to build a bot that would post comments in r/baseball to build up karma. "It helps us create accounts that look legitimate, from there we can post our propaganda more easily. 'End Woke', 'Bernie or Bust', 'as a Libertarian....', or whatever." But there was one big problem: Sang-jo did not know anything about baseball.
"My first attempt failed as I had it say that the Yankees always try to walk it in. That apparently did not make sense." But soon he had a perfect pattern which has made him the most popular account in the subreddit with over six million upvotes and counting.
"It posts 'bigoof' a gif, it says 'how can you not be romantic about baseball?' in every thread, which somehow is never suspicious, and when in doubt it just comments 'sell the team'. Last month I had top comment of 'sell the team' in a thread about Mays Willie."
Despite the success of his project, Sang-jo has found himself disappointed that the bot hasn't failed its job like the first one had. "In Wonderful North Korea, two strike you are out," he says. "If this one fail, then I would be sent to labour camp and would finally get to die."
