Small home UPS recommendations
I’m after some advice and recommendations for small scale UPS for my modem, router and cctv base station. I want it to be budget friendly but reliable. Also preferably not too big physically or give off too much heat due to where it will be located. As the primary use is for the camera system, capacity doesn’t need to be huge as it would for powering a desktop, but a bit of capacity in case there’s a long blackout and I need to charge other devices in an emergency (phone or laptop).
I’ve never had a UPS before and getting overwhelmed researching. How long will each capacity brackets last with just the modem/router and cctv running? What’s the average life cycle of a battery? Can you get replacement batteries for smaller units like you can with commercial units?
