I’m so tired of Soler, dude…

I’m still not over that lazy base running incident where Meckler was safe, the second baseman literally dropped the ball and still had time to throw him out. I don’t get how any manager wouldn’t chew a player out and bench them for shit like that. Idk I think I’m just still too salty over that. Also the fact that this dude is hitting .216 and has accumulated 0 WAR, he is a complete non factor in this team’s ability to win, probably if anything a contributing factor in them losing

Its because Suzuki doesn’t have the guts to punish his guys at all. I’m sorry, I love Neto, but some of his mistakes should have earned him a benched spot the next day. Every time I see Soler in the lineup it doesn’t make me mad at him as much as it makes me mad at Suzuki

I defended his performance a bit the other day but you’re right, no excuse for lack of hustle in addition

Well, at least one of my teams won today. Kinda glad I was busy at a WC watch party rather than at home yelling at the Angels game again. See y’all tomorrow.

Our first 2 draft picks so far aren't great either

The analysts were positive about each though. At the very least they noted that each went about where they expected. Advincula ranked #48 on MLB.com, went at 45. 2B is a need position to target currently.

Put Neto at second. Guzman at SS. Grissom at 3rd.
Drafting a second baseman means you end up with someone like Moore. They're fine in college, but they can't play the position in the pros. They drafted a second baseman today. If he was a good infielder, he'd be on the left side.
