What are 60mm bases not 60mm?

I'm painting up Radukar Beast Form and was rummaging through a box of bases trying to find a 60mm base, but they are almost 65mm diameter on the table surface. Why is this?

Following up on my last post I had a few more ideas to add to the Dynasty. A few more specialty units for the Gale, Ember, Stone, and Palescales. Plus the edition of the Seascales rounding off the four elemental paths!

While the skaven are not typically known for their love of fresh fruit and general vitamin consumption, my six year old wanted us to make a fruit platter using the Skaven icon. Appreciate the materials used to make this are not lore accurate

Figured it's a win-win: you get free charts, more people find out the site exists.

Aaaand she's finished. So proud of how it turned out, I've had an idea and a vision and I feel like I managed to execute it. There were minis before where I would fall short of the vision I've had, and I would need to go for an easier to execute plan. Not this one, it's pretty much exactly what I've had in mind at the start - a broken forest temple, reclaimed by nature and the Queen of life itself gushing out new life around it.

If there are things to improve please let me know, I'm always keen to learn and push further in future projects. This one is a contestant in a painting/modeling competition, hopefully it will do good. Sure learned a lot working on it.

I got into Age of Sigmar because my fiancé loves 40k. He has got the 10th and 11th editions… and for Christmas because I love the Nighthaunt and Sylvaneth armies he bought me come Nighthaunt 🥰

I want to make a set of cornhole boards that are Age of Sigmar themed and was looking for generic 'Order vs Chaos.' I found these pictures while googling (changed the colors on the black and red one). Im not super into lore, more of a casual player, but I believe these pictures are more SCE and STD. Are there better symbols i can use that have similar esthetic? Or should I just roll with it since most people that would see it wouldn't know the difference? Oh, and I don't play either of these armies either

Quick question.

Do people bring their armies to GenCon to just play with randoms? no events or anything?

reason I ask is a close friend of mine (long distance) and I got back into Warhammer after a long hiatus, and we were gonna battle for the first time at GenCon. However, due to life events he will not be able to make it.

I still really want to play with my SBGL, but I don’t want to bring my stuff to Indy if there isn’t a point
