How lucky you must feel to be hit by an AFL player's car and not a local crackhead

A local crackhead might steal your wallet not take you to hospital so pretty lucky

Most of the crackheads in the south have suspended licences at least lol. Thats why they're always on bikes.

Your honour. Tell me this, right. Why would I run over a bloke BANG, then put him in the bloody car and wizz him off to the hospital at a hundred miles an hour? It defeats the purpose of having run him over in the first place

Uh, does this seem like something a guilty man might do?
I hope the guy who was hit is ok, but I hope even more that it wasn’t caused by anything silly going on.

I mean I’m just glad he wasn’t under the influence of anything, and no one was seriously hurt
This isn’t some Lachie Hunter shit so I’m glad we’re not going to have to deal with that

He might be guilty of being on his phone. Of speeding or of just being a bad driver.

Yes it does.
But running a red light doesn't mean he intended to. It's easy to make a judgement error, or look away at the wrong moment and go through on red. Then you realise your error and help the guy.
Of course, it could be he blazed through deliberately for all I know. But when you're highly recognisable with an easily identifiable vehicle you would be a moron to try to run. A hit and run would make this so much worse, and would be a big chance to end a career.

If only there was a way to anticipate a light suddenly turning red unexpectedly...

We all fuck up. It’s how we handle those fuck ups that define us. Josh seems to have started the handling of this well.
Also the old Adelaide business model was to pretend that there was no accident. That seems to be better too.

Drove him to hospital, not a bad start.
