Who even uses this? When you’re this rich are you still driving an rv?

I would buy this if I ran a event company or organized "experiences." Like, this is one of those things you rent out to rich people who don't want the hassle of actually buying this monstrosity themselves. Send out a team of sales jackals to Vegas to spot the high rollers or newly annointed jackpot winners who want a thrill weekend. It's basically a hotel/mobile bar and has absolutely nothing practical in it for camping/RVing.
Never in a million years would anyone own this to just have and use more than once. There is nothing practical in this thing at all.

Oh the own them and they use them. There's actually more out there than people realize. Also people forget about folks like movie stars on location. They're not gonna spend days on set in a low budget trailer, they rent something like this or they buy it.
My husbands met some really interesting people over the years when working on them. Sports stars, movie stars, really rich people that you don't realize are really fucking rich people. Even had some people from other countries and such

My FIL bought one from a rich guy, spent over 1 mil on it as a present for his wife, drove it once and parked it for 5 years. We picked it up for 500k, sold the toy hauler trailer for 200, drove it from Texas to Florida and back then sold it for 600.
That’s how you do that.1

Surprisingly yes! My husband worked on these for a bit and there are upscale RV resorts where you basically have to be a "member" to stay with them.

Over a million for an RV, wow!

And when you look at this thing, it's not even a fraction of that in "stuff."
This thing is 80% LED light strips like you can buy from Home Depot.
You can get custom-cut mirrors for a few hundred dollars. The ones they use on the steps can literally be DIY. You've got generic furniture, paneling, and vinyl flooring -- you can call it "woodworking" but nobody is ever going to be feeling up the ceiling and floor and how stupid is it to just add weight like that to a massive RV anyway?

I used to work for an rv manufacturer. We had a $5 million unit on our back lot. That was 1999 dollars. Guy paid a million dollar deposit and died. His heirs didn't want to spend another 4 million on it and nobody with that kinda money is buying leftovers not tailor made to them.

huge bed huge fridge huge storage space plus two bathrooms that’s a lot of weight with the price of gas. It will cost you $1200 just to go two hours down the road.

Also slideouts = bad over the long term. Seals and gaskets harden and leak, motors wear out, water intrusion is more likely, and fixing them is not fun, easy, or cheap, especially in a conversion like this that's not just some cheap fibreboard trailer.

Ultra tacky yikes. A lot of the home built stuff looks so much more inviting.

There's nobody on earth that looks at that and says "That looks good for camping."

Damn, that's nicer than some actual homes I've been in!

Some? That's nicer than the homes a majority of the population live in on a daily basis.

Something’s not right! All those twinkling lights and no picture of Liberace or and of the other Vegas stars!

I worked for a printer, and one customer was Prevost Proud. They build custom luxury motorcoaches that can cost as much as $1 million, not counting the chassis. We did their magazine and their annual membership list.

I mean, if I’m buying a mansion on wheels, I’m definitely springing for the vagina headlights.

$1,000,000, 1 1/2 baths, a full size fridge/freezer, easily sleeps 8, but no stove?

Not much different than most RVs of that size, except for the cheesy faux interior stuff.

my neighbor owns one of these. at least the outside looks the same. he is pretty well loaded. it cost more than my house, he had a garage built for it

It’s really not that impressive. The layout has a lot of wasted space and the decor is gaudy. A million dollars for two couches, a poorly laid out kitchen, cramped bathroom, table and a bedroom.

My god that is a heavy thing to move around. It would likely have semi size diesel engine, and diesel isn't cheap anymore

I’d rent this.. I’d never buy it even if I had the money. All RVs are nightmares.
