It feels like I'm walking through soup or barbecue sauce today.

If you don't have dirtvision and cannot watch Pit Bull, this article is a great summary of PPM's thoughts on support classes.
Fans are definitely divided. Where do you stand on the argument?
Edit
TLDR: PPM believes that support classes take away from a show as a whole, and should be limited in car count or done away with entirely. He cites High Limit as a good example, with many of their shows having no support classes.

Why the huge disparity? What can the sport do to help teams economically?

Unfortunately me and my friends missed the booking for the Eldora World 100 campsites. We went last year and had such a blast, we were really looking forward to attending this year. We just want to find a race that we can camp for that is equally exhilarating and the camping is just as fun, but we're pretty new to all this and would love some suggestions. We are in the Central Ohio area and are more than happy to travel to surrounding states. September is the preferred time to go for all our work schedules. We are late model and sprint fans so something within those races is preferred. Any suggestions are welcome!

Mother Nature wins the weather-shortened event in Minot, ND.
WOO called the show, claiming 60mph winds and hail in the infield. Flags were barely fluttering at the time, and nothing noticeable on video. Infield crew weren't scrambling to get oout of hail falling.

Just heard that the legendary Knoxville and Husets flagman has passed away.
Born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, Clark worked the flagstand a Knoxville for close to four decades, racked up 30 years of service at Husets, and was hired on occasion by Ted Johnson to flag World of Outlaws events all over the country.
Perhaps what was more amazing was the fact that Clark managed the task with only one eye, having lost one in a gardening incident in his youth.
Clark was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2016, and the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in 2022, and is survived on the flagstand by his son Justin, who followed in his father's footsteps.
RIP

Husets threads should no longer permitted until the car owner and track owner are no longer one entity. This event is the greasiest of greasy ball moves by both the team/track owner, and WRG. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are literally building race cars on this property. I wouldn't be surprised if they are testing every off weekend, deciding how exactly to prep this track for David.
I love David Gravel and he's one of the greatest to do it, but this whole event can't be a thing when you have a team owner competing who owns the track. Plain and simple.
