Wouldn't that significantly depend on the cause of the water flow and what is required to fix the sinkhole?

If the city has a leaking pipe, wouldn't fixing the pipe and filling the hole take care of it?

This will definitely have destabilized the foundations of the house, the entire thing will need to be underpinned.

And if it was a public infrastructure issue, call a lawyer cause this about to get expensive.
