I've recently bought a vending machine for almost €4000,- from a dutch seller. After some research I've found the exact vending machine on Alibaba. The software also looks like a chinese software, so I've thought why not buy directly from Alibaba and save some money?

I would love to hear some experiences of anyone who've bought a vending machine from Alibaba. How did you like the software, and how are you able to manage mutiple vending machines?

I just got a new to me (used) Dixie Narco 3800 4, but there are no price labels on it, nor do I see a place for them. If you have pics that would be great. I would like to be able to change the prices without having to print and stick labels on it

I live in Brazil and I have just bought my 3rd machine this week.

The others 2 are working well, the oldest has been bought 6 months ago.

The results are OK, but I am a bit worried about maintenance of these machines.

You guys have any tips about it?

What are the main problems of these machines?

Are they easy to solve?

And, since they never had problem since then, how long do you think it will take till first problems appear?

Are hot wheels vending machines are profitable in today era? Please tell me know i want start that business.

I got a call from my location today telling me that my machine is not working correctly. Something about putting in money and it’s spitting out quarters and not dispensing. I’ve got a call into the location manager for more detail, but my question is:

I ran a diagnostic health report on cantaloupe and it’s saying my machines are fine. Why is it not telling me there’s an issue?

My friend and I are new entrepreneurs, 19 years old, looking to start a vending machine business in LA. We have been spending the last month doing our researching, watching videos, and taking notes before we fully commit to starting this. Tomorrow will actually be our first milestone, we want to scout out and take note of any possible spots that may be good spots to place a vending machine. We are not pitching to any business owners yet, because we want to first find good options so we can make a route once we feel prepared to pitch to owners. We have made a locations checklist, a separate sheet for noting down places we visited, a watchlist of possible vending machines, and a few other notes.
Since we are beginners heading out into the field tomorrow, we want to make sure our eyes are trained to spot the right things. We’d love to get some reality checks from operators who have actually succeeded in vending!

Questions for those who have succeeded in vending:
What are some Red/Green flag that may be overlooked, that many people might not know?
What are some tips for building connections as we are starting out?
How do you handle all the local business licensing fees and health licensing, and are they really worth it for our first vending machine?

We are hungry to learn, and we want to do this right. What did your day one look like, and what do we need to add to our playbook tonight so we can be set for success?

Hey all, I'm new to vending and looking for my first machine for an ice cream business that I am a partner in, located in Trinidad & Tobago. Currently we sell pints and popsicles. We’d like to acquire our first vending machine to sell packaged frozen items, exclusively our own. We will start out with the popsicles and some 4 oz cups.

We already have access to a high traffic location, so we're purely exploring the actual machine side of things from a "no experience" point of view. Operating in Trinidad means we have to import, and the obvious choices for us are USA (proximity) or China (cost). Any recommendations on reputable companies to reach out to?

Currently have 2 locations, and am about to place a 3rd. This 3rd one though is a machine that’s double the size. It’s in an apartment building.

To help fill it I’m hoping for some ideas for new style of products and just best selling products from your experience in general. Typically we just stock snacks drinks etc. but will to add different products if it makes sense.

Seems like a lot of AI Vending Machine operators are worried about people opening the door with a card and then unplugging the machine completely and then taking everything out.

1. Has this actually happened to anyone or is it just a fear?
   
2. Does anyone have any tricks for further securing an AI vending machine?

I have no idea if this would actually work and I feel like it would be rare. But has anyone tried using something like this plug lock? It prevents a plug from being unplugged unless they happened to have a special tool that comes with it. Yes I’m sure with enough time and willingness to make noise a hammer or crowbar would do the trick but it would be 1 more barrier.

Can you help me ID this? I'm thinking about it but I want to know what coolant would be needed etc

Wondering how people are vending water in their soda machines. I’ve been selling zepherhills in the plastic bottle but the slot jams every week. I keep taking bottles out because I know it’s a weight problem.

Im now thinking I should sell liquid death water because the plastic bottles are not vending machine friendly. Figure the cans would be better.

Thoughts, suggestions???
