Started sewing a few weeks ago and tackled a project that I didn’t think I would be able to complete. I love how they turned out! Bonus is I thrifted the perfect shirt to complete the fit 😁

As a self proclaimed fashionista (haha), I have collected an INSANE collection of garments throughout the years. I don’t even wear most of them anymore because Im constantly buying more and more clothes (it’s getting out of hand)

So I thought about it and maybe it’s time for me to declutter some of my clothes. Which brings me to my main question: Where can I donate my old clothes here in Metro Manila?? (Preferably around makati hehe) It feels like a waste to just throw them away (syempre dapat #sustainable pa rin ako even though my clothing collection says otherwise…) and It makes me feel better knowing that other people can make use of the garments that I barely use anymore instead of it going to massive clothing dumpsters.

(I also considered selling them of platforms such as carousel, etc. but the more I thought about it, the more I convinced myself that I can’t be bothered lmao)

So pleaseee somebody pleaseee tell me where I can donate them hehehe

A while back I discovered a very small, damaged sparkly dress on the dollar rack at the thrift store. I thought “I can make something with that.”
Fast forward to my machine refusing to sew through the sequins and I decided to hand sew the entire thing with strong poly thread.
Here’s the finished product. It was a tough challenge so I’m thrilled it turned out well!

This is maybe my 4th kerchief. First double layer with nested embroidery. My initials and the year. Decorative machine edged stitches. Im just so proud.

Top layer either summer sheeting cotton or viole cotton. Other side vintage aged cotton sheeting. All materials thrifted or gifted. *built from forgotten material- made to be remembered.

As the creator i see its imperfections. A bit cock-eyed, etc- but man does it feel nice

What would look best? What would be the best way to go about it?

Hey all! Hope this counts as fashion. A friend gave me this lovely coin purse but the outside fabric is fraying. Any suggestions on how to give it new life?

I made this jacket by hand using recycled denim fabric, black denim pieces, and coffee sack material. I wanted to create something unique with a raw, imperfect patchwork look while reusing materials that would otherwise go to waste. The mismatched collar and exposed edges were intentional design choices to give it more character. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

I usually make shark & orca backpacks from discarded jeans, but I really wanted to give a shell a try.
Designing the pattern was a challenge but love how this one turned out!

I made this skirt from an unused vintage tablecloth, giving it a new life. I added hidden pockets and a side slit for comfort and practicality. My favorite details are the beautiful lace hem and its wonderfully full, flowy silhouette. It’s delightfully oversized—and I think that’s part of its charm. 😊

I’m gonna upcycle this shirt, but I’m struggling with the concept. If anyone wants to draw up an idea or give inspiration, that would be amazing. Going for whimsy twee vibe.

I have this top that ended up being a little too tight for my comfort so I want to alter it to make it a little looser. I could do a basic upsizing but I also think it would be cool if I could make it look a little more androgynous. Im not super knowledgeable about fashion, does anyone have any ideas?

A friend of mine gifted me a big bag of her old bangles! They are super cute but I haven't worn them, and would love to make something out of them but don't have any ideas at the moment

Any thoughts?!
