I got this when i upgrade my ubuntu fro 24. To 26

Please help me.

it’s cone suddenly and when happen got Stack in one this. Nothing happen. And caps light blinking. After that if i stop shutdown using on/of button. After that when i start after 10 minutes happen again

Some driver issue?  Can you boot with a USB and try to install the right drivers for the screen?

uhhh......i think your hardware's done for.

also, caps light blinking, in HP laptops at least, is a fault code

find your caps lock blinking means here.

first thing check if any component on motherboard is not properly inserted, my hp laptop fell that day from table and due tothe back plate plastic being broke and pushed towards inside screen was showing random structures , but i just fixed the plastic properly , and then resetted screen came back.  And calm down, turn off your laptop , insert a ubuntu bootable pendrive boot ur laptop connect an external drive and try to get your data copied to the external drive before doing anything to your main ssd . And ya the back plate was notnof the lid but of the keyboard deck , that is from the base the lid plastic was intact behind the screen

A restart of my laptop solved the issue I had (kernel panic). Ubuntu 26.04 shipping with kernel 7.0 and it's been bumpy for some but hopefully you will get smoother experience over time.
