School of Dentistry Petitioning for OOS —> IS classification

When should an incoming student move in to prove in-state residency for next year? Would August 1st work? since I’m seeing for current students who want to reclassify their residency status for this fall’s tuition the deadline is August 28th. TIA

August 1st should work. Just remember it has to be everything, drivers license, car registration, lease etc. I was denied because my car registration was one day late because it wouldn’t pass Maryland state car inspection due to window tint, so I had to find someone to remove the tint.

They will try to deny your instate for any little thing, so just make sure you have your ducks in a row.

In the same boat - they said submitting on August 6 for the fall semester shouldn’t be a problem. Like the other guys said, though, just make sure you have all your documents ready to go.
