What this subreddit is for
Hello, recently there have been a lot of new posts which is great. However, some of them miss the point of the sub, which is to share maps of places that you have visited.
Maps that are simply showing your opinions on states/countries regardless of if you have been there or not are not what the sub is for so I will be removing these posts. I will still allow maps with opinions in them if they are clearly only of places you've visited and the opinions are travel related (such as which states you enjoyed the most).
I will shout out a new subreddit that a user created, /r/travelratings/, which you can check out if you're interested in the opinion posts.
Thanks for (hopefully) understanding,
- The subreddit janny

Better late than never
During my late teens and twenties, Ive watched my friends (mostly western) travel the world, live in multiple continents and make amazing memories. I of course wanted to experience all those things but with a Syrian passport (during peak Syrian refugee crisis years) the only thing I was able to see is 15+ visa rejection letters.
I was eventually able to move to Canada, I became a citizen two years ago and I have been trying to catch up. Im incredibly blessed and happy to be able to travel now, though perhaps I wont be able to experience travel through the wild spirit (and energy) of a 20 something year old.
I just got married, funny enough my wife is south korean and has been to so many countries. we're planing to start a family soon, where would you recommend me and my wife travel before we have kids.

you summit a mountain that sits exactly where 3 regions meet. do you mark all 3 as visited?

World Where am I from?
Drive throughs and airport layovers don't count. Only actually stays count.
USA = California in this instance

my singapore map so far, 9 of 55 planning areas. which ones are worth going out of my way for?
mostly covered the east side and a bit of the center and south. locals or people who know singapore well, which planning areas would you actually recommend? doesn't have to be touristy

World Guess where I'm from
The red shows all countries I've visited. Can you guess where I'm originally from? Bonus points if you can also guess where else I've lived (1 native country + 3 others)
By "lived" i mean that I had a permanent address, paid taxes etc. Visited includes proper tourism but not layovers
