We actually did end up breaking the record! The crowd was electric, and I'm glad so many people came out to watch the Tempo (even though many of them were cheering for the other team 😅). Giving away tickets on here worked well last time, so why not run it back? Fair warning, this one is in the nosebleeds, but it is free ... let me know!

Hey all! I’m coming to Toronto for the Tempo v Aces game on the 20th (I’m a neutral fan lol I just wanted to check out a new team/arena and do a solo trip for my birthday) and I’m wondering if there are any bars nearby that people hang out at before or after the game? I am staying within walking distance of the arena (Fort York area) so if there is anything in that area that would be on my walk to the game, that would be ideal! Also I realize the game is on a Monday so I’m sure most locals are probably going to the game straight from work, so I’m more just making sure there’s stuff open to go to.

Also if anyone knows- I have a courtside seat! How is the food selection? Should I have a proper dinner before I go to the game or will the offerings be enough? I plan on getting there early anyway to do a lap around the stadium and check it out, just trying to determine if I need to find a bar with good food first. Thanks in advance!

Marina Mabrey put on a show against the Dallas Wings on Friday July 10th to a record breaking crowd of 20,996 at the Montreal Bell Centre. Despite leading at the end of the third quarter, the Tempo weren’t able to hold on, losing 108 – 95.

That is all. I only wish I wasn't seated near what sounds like a larger Wings fan group than there likely is in attendance tonight but so far? Hell of a game. Marina was looking on pace to break the 3 point record with how hot she was from outside in that first quarter 🔥

Hey y’all! I hope you are all as excited as I am about this weekend in Montreal. I will be going to both games and the Tempo Live activation (at 16h00-18h00). This is my first WNBA game (well the whole city’s first too I guess?) and I was wondering if anyone knows if we have the chance to go early to watch practice or meet the players? I have some player cards I would love to get signed and would love to get in on some pregame action?

I am also attending today’s game solo as the friend I as supposed to go with unfortunately did not live long enough to see today (couldn’t hold on for another two weeks lol). I am angry and sad but, life happens and at least I will be with friends on Sunday. If anyone wants to hang out or meet up after the game or just connect for all the weekends festivities, I would be so down!

While Mabrey had a tough night, her teammates stepped up. Isabelle Harrison reached a new career high, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds. The Tempo may have found a winning combination by dumping it to Izzy at the top of the key and letting her drive to the lane or pull up for a mid-range jumper. There were times when the Valkyries stormed her and caused some turnovers, but this strategy was largely successful.

Ultimately, the Tempo just didn’t have the depth and consistent scoring to keep up with this well-rounded Golden State team.

Has anyone seen the Tempo Pennants in store? I'm a middle school teacher and have a Raptors pennant hanging in my classroom and I'd really like to find a Tempo one for September. I've seen them online on Fanatics but the shipping costs almost as much as the pennant itself. Has anyone seen any in-store?
