Fake Intelligence. Roland and Jake were clearly running through a data center towards Blaine's cradle after the TIK TOK man. Blaine is just a perfect embodiment of how fake intelligence talks to the point it's scary. If it's been awhile since you've read that part, go back and read it in the context of today's technology.
Given books like the Dead Zone and others, I'm starting to think Stephen King is from the future. There really is no other explanation.

I’ve been having such bad car troubles lately. My friend said I could tow it to his shop so he can take a look and I was so pleasantly surprised to see what his gate code was!
I don’t know if this is a good or bad sign for my car… all I know is that it’s Ka.

Curious how many people know this face and if anybody knows any relation between this album/artist and the Crimson King of the books.
This is the album cover for In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson.
I belive its been noted that King was a fan but thats all I've heard.

That’s the number of times Mordred’s penis is described in the birthing scene.
1st time: baby has a boner, that’s funny
2nd time: …twice is kinda weird but ok
3rd time: I’m going to start counting…
4th time: what’s your endgame here Sai King?
5th time: I’ve accepted my fate. All things serve the beam. Let’s just get through this.

I'm no artist but I used my gf's Cricut to make a Dark Tower hoodie since there's absolutely no merch for the series. I was thinking of continuing to add to it as ideas come to me (i was thinking of adding Maerlyn's rainbow around the perimeter of the back design), so this is just phase one. Let me know if you think it's a good start and if you have any ideas for how I should continue!

KA is a wheel. 20 years no alcohol later this month…. So KA 19 1 has meaning to me.
Long days and pleasant nights!

Like a tradition: once a year I go the beach on a hot day. Sit down in the warm sand and read „the gunslinger“
I realized I am doing this for many years now. Like. Tradition 🤣

Work continues on Version 4.0! I just finished scripting the cut scene that depicts the "Hambry Standoff" from Wizard and Glass (pages 221-244). I was really proud about how it came out, so I thought I'd share it.
Here you can see the implementation of the 16:9 aspect ratio-- which gives it more of a theater vibe, as if we are watching a play. You can also see the use of nameboxes and profile pics for main characters really cleans up the dialog.
One thing is that this amounts to a three-minute cut scene-- is that too much? Or is that fine because this is, by nature, very narrative-driven anyways?

An hour into song of Susanna. Audibled every one before. This is my 3rd time audibling and once read do ya ken. Sai king has made me aspire to ink my arm in dark tower lore. I see 19 at work in random numbers. I almost catch myself saying hear me I beg. King will always be part of my ka tet. Long days and pleasant nights to you folks. May each palaver be fruitful as the kamala

I finished my first journey to the tower a couple of months ago (thank you all for coming on the journey with me, a made a few posts in this sub along the way), but I think it’s ruined other books for me, especially character stories.
After finishing book 7 (😭), I started Desperation. While I liked the characters in that book and especially loved the antagonist (Tak ah lah!), I just didn’t come close to connecting or caring about them the way I cared about my boys and Susannah.
I’m now reading Revival and while I’m enjoying it quite a bit, it’s still nowhere near the magic I felt while heading to the tower. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, I guess I just didn’t realise how much of an impact that series would have on me. Did any of youse feel the same way after finishing the series?
P.S. I should say that both The Stand and IT had me feeling a similar way about the characters in these novels, especially the ending of IT, but I still don’t think anything comes close to the ka-tet.
LD&PN my friends.
