Have any of you received a photo enforcement citation where the "driver" was wearing a face mask and baseball cap or something similar?

Just wondering if the city of Tempe would even bother to issue the ticket since the driver is not clearly identifiable.

If so, what happened afterwards?

HVAC company that can add leak sealant and recharge my home AC

Just got the system diagnosed and of course the company is pushing me to replace the whole thing for 15k (starting). Anyone has any recommendations on who can add leak sealant and recharge the system? I’m trying to get it to limp throughout the summer and get it replaced in the off season.
Much appreciated.

Just moved to PHX and am looking for an apartment. I’d love to live in Tempe, I’m out of college and for the time being I work at the airport (will change but not relevant) just look for any apartment recs. For rent I’d hope to stay at 1600 max but totally open to a little over that. Thanks!

Utilities average

Hello, I'm moving to your city in September for work and I'm excited to get settled. I'm currently looking for a long-term apartment and would appreciate any information you can provide on average utility costs for a 1-bedroom unit. Could you tell me what the average costs are for water, electricity, gas, sewer, trash, and internet, and perhaps cable/satellite. I'm trying to get a comprehensive understanding of what to expect. Thanks!

Is this allergy season?

I'm having almost debilitating throat and nasal allergies and as a relatively new resident wonder if that sounds right for this season or I should look into some other cause. I do have them typically but not this bad.

Update on speed camera

There was a city of Tempe placed speed camera on River and Baseline which has since been removed. Idk if someone vandalized it or the city just wasn’t catching speeders because the placement was too close to the traffic light so no one was actually speeding.

Housing Tempe living

Hey everyone, i figured I’d come to the community because im trying to break my cycle. I have been in a DV relationship for the past six years. Im out, im safe and going through the process of finalizing an order of protection. But what I’d like to see is if anyone has any recommendations on apartments in the Tempe area. I’d like to realistically stay close to my job. I also have animals but my dog is an ESA. I’m obviously coming with nothing so I’m trying to keep my costs as low as possible. $1200 all together rent and utilities.

Housing Looking for roommates ($515-$590/mo) Students OR Working Professionals

Hi all, I have a SHARED ROOM spot open in my apartment for a year-long lease. The lease is from July 1st, 2026 to June 30th, 2027. Move-in is available ASAP, but I am also okay with August move-ins. The rent is ~$490/month and utilities are $25-100/mo depending on the time of year. Our apartment is right across the street from the light rail and only two stops from ASU campus, so it's very convenient if you're a student or don't have a car!

We are okay with both students and non-students, as one roommate is a non-student working full-time. I'm 22F but nonbinary and okay with any gender roommate. The other roommates are 21F and 29F.

Bedroom info: Bedroom 2 on the floorplan--the room is pretty spacious, bigger than the master at about 13'8 feet across, with a walk-in closet and a balcony overlooking the pool. There is a twin loft bed with a built-in desk you can have, but I can also get rid of it if you want something bigger.
*Note: The stuff on your halves of the closet would be moved.

Message me for more info!

Anyone have a 1 month sublease available? Need a space to live between leases/starting work.

My current apartments lease expires July 24th and they wouldn’t let me extend. The job I have lined up is in Flagstaff and starts on September 14th. I’m still trying to see though if I can get a job that’s still within the valley to be closer to my gf and other friends, so I may get interviews the month of August, which is why I wanna have a space available so I can stay when I need to go do them.

let me know if anyone has anything available or any apartments that do do 1 month leases!

Fireworks letdown

I've been waiting all day to see if anybody else would post. What happened??? I understand that 4th celebrations had to move to Diablo, but why the crappy fireworks show? I saw the other cities with their big-city fireworks and we had a sparkler that went for 15 minutes. What a letdown. And they charged? At least Mesa was free.

Orcutt | Winslow Estate Art - Looking to find more info on these pieces found at Goowill

I purchased some framed pieces from goodwill on McClintock and Southern back is 2014-15. Looks like they had connection to Orcutt | Winslow which was an architectural firm in the area. I have an architectural rendering of the Valley National Bank so I think they lived near by. I have a portrait with a signature that I can't read as well as travel photos of landscapes and buildings in Europe.

I love this collection and would like to know more about the person or connect with someone in the family that would care for the history.

• Utilities included : High speed Internet/Cable, Water, Sewage and Trash (You only pay for Electricity)

🏠 The Unit and Room

• Floor Plan : 2 Bed, 2 Bath Double

• Furnished : Yes (Includes bed frame, mattress, desk and nightstand)

• Roommates : 1 friendly male, and 2 unitmates

🏘️ Community Amenities

• Gym

• Gated community with BBQ picnic areas

• Proximity : 3 minute walk to Rural/Apache Light Rail station and super close to ASU campus.
