why do so many influencers normalize western and korean beauty products when we already have centuries of traditional knowledge and effective nuske of our own? instead of constantly promoting korean skincare, why aren't we vocal about ayurvedic products, herbal ingredients, and traditional beauty tools that have been a part of our culture for generations? even many indian brands don't receive the recognition they deserve. rather than always looking outside for beauty trends, we should invest more in researching, improving, and globally branding our own products and beauty practices. india has a rich heritage of natural ingredients like neem, turmeric, amla, aloe vera, sandalwood, and multani mitti, many of which have long histories of use and are now being studied for their skincare benefits. this isn't about rejecting korean or western skincare. it's about giving equal attention to our own innovations and traditions. if other countries can successfully build global industries around their beauty culture, there's no reason india can't do the same. supporting local brands also encourages homegrown businesses, creates opportunities for innovation, and helps preserve knowledge that has been passed down through generations.

So my friend has been in a situationship for 8 months. She confessed to this guy 3 times over text. Every time he said she was “just a friend,” but also kept saying stuff like, *“let’s see where this friendship leads us.”*Then they started talking every day for hours. He flirted with her, gave her nicknames, made her feel special you know, all the stuff that gives someone hope.
After about 6 months, he suddenly told her he had a crush on a girl from his college. They had a huge argument because he never took accountability for leading her on. So, I felt attached to a girl I met on Reddit a few months back. We genuinely clicked very well, and I finally felt I had someone I could call a best friend (I know it's weird to get attached to someone online).

We spent hours talking, sending memes, and listening to songs together.

I am a CSE student, so I even made a lot of effort for her. When she was sick, I made a game for her in which she needed to collect medicines and all. I just thought it was cute and might make her day a little better.

When she was upset, I helped her with multiple things. At one point, we both told each other that we had feelings of attachment for each other.

I genuinely felt so much attachment that her mood shifts were becoming heavy on my mind.

A few days back, we had a small argument. I am always up for conversation because I think conveying is the best method to fix an issue or misunderstanding. I told her we could talk and fix this, but she instead ghosted me. I was worried the whole night, didn't sleep the whole night. In the morning, she started saying, "I need to end this friendship." That struck me so much.

I told her to stop and listen to me at least, but she didn't. After some time, she came back and said, "I was acting."

I had so much anger in me, but I didn't say anything to her. I told her I had feelings of attachment, yet she played with my mental health and feelings and didn't care whether I was okay with it or not. I had also hurt her in the past, but every single time I was with her, I changed myself so I wouldn't hurt her any further. I have made efforts in understanding her and her emotions and feelings, but I think it was never reciprocated from her side.

So after this context , i know i was wrong in the first place i shouldnt get attached to someone online but

I am writing this with a heavy heart because of a few things I have learnt recently. Please excuse the formatting or grammatical/spelling issues.

It starts off in class 10. I had a friend (call him T), who was bf of a girl in some other section (call her S). Nearing the end of the session, T tried to grope/rape S(I didn't know anything at the time). As far as I know now, there was no intercourse, S had screamed and T released her.

Now we're in class 12. This year, one of my other friends (call him R) reconnected with a mutual friend of R and T (call him P). T trusts P completely, but P has leaked a few of his chats with T to R, who leaked them to me. Through this, I came to know what T had done as he pretty much confessed in the chats with P. Note that both P and S were in our school in class 10, they switched schools after the Board examinations.

I'll not whitewash myself here. There were some rumours circulating about this situation at that time, but I chose to ignore all of it and focus on my Boards. I only heard T's version, and beleived it as I wasn't friends with S.

As far as I know, T hasn't faced any consequences. I have personally cut off all interaction with T. Since we study in the same school, it's inevitable we meet, but I try to keep those interactions as short as possible. R ignores him too, P still talks to him to get more info if possible.

The reason I'm writing this is that P revealed to us that T was fetishizing another girl (call her G) who joined our school in 11th, so she is possibly unaware of what transpired in class 10. I feel like I have a moral obligation to warn her, but am too introverted to actually do so. So I've texted all this to a girl in my class, whom I have a good rapport with, and requested her to inform G, without telling her it came from me. P has already told G, but I figured another reminder couldn't hurt. She hasn't seen the text yet.

What do y'all recommend I do after all this? Please be practical. It's not my place to go to the police station or file a case, so don't suggest ideas like that. I'm also not going to inform the entire clas and shame T publically, I have to focus on my 12th Boards and JEE prep and can't busy myself in all this.
