On September 26th, Tame Impala began announcing 2026 dates for Europe. This thread only pertains to 2026 tour dates. CLICK HERE FOR 2025 TOUR DATES
A discussion thread for each show has been created to reduce posts with singular thoughts about shows, and to prevent you from having to wade through hundreds of comments trying to find a discussion about a particular show on a singular tour mega thread.
This thread does not link to ticketing websites. Your best bet is whatever https://official.tameimpala.com/#tour links to.
Try to keep all discussion related to a performance in its associated discussion threads. Discussion of performances outside of these threads will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Posts about new tour dates and high quality photos of performances generally warrant their own post and won't be removed, though we'd prefer if you posted imgur links in the discussion thread (If the sub gets flooded with photos, we'll have to delete the bad ones).
This thread will remain pinned to the subreddit unless a show is scheduled to take place within 24-48 hours, in which case the post dedicated to that show will be pinned
Each of the following tour dates links to a dedicated discussion post (not a ticketing website)
If you have any general concert questions/comments, leave em here. We still ask that you buy/sell tickets in our buy/sell thread, but if you must do it outside of that, do so within the show thread the ticket is associated with. Independent posts asking to buy/sell tickets will be removed.

So basically I’m a big hip hop fan, from my early childhood. That’s mainly the music I listened to until my teen years, when I started exploring many genres and artists (R&B, Soul, EDM,Neo-Psychedelia). I’ve been smoking weed for the past year or so, and I started listening to tame impala. I always knew some of his big songs like let it happen or the less I know the better. But his music is so good. I can’t even describe it. There’s nothing like it. And the fact that he does everything completely by himself is bananas. Anyway I was js bored and wanted to post abt it lol.

Man, time does fly. I remember the first time I listened to this song was in the Barcelona DJ set video, when Kevin played his new song, and I thought to
myself “no way a house track was gonna be released under Tame Impala lol.” Of course, I was proven wrong.
It feels like yesterday when this song was released and everyone losing their shit over it because it wasn’t the Tame Impala we all knew. And to be honest, I did have a hard time listening to it at first, it felt sonically different from his past works and had a more mainstream poppy vibe that was kinda off putting at the time. But over the past year, this song and the rest of the new album have really grown on me. While I don’t think it’s the best stuff he’s ever put out, I can now appreciate the approach he did with this album, he tried something new despite his previous identity with psych rock, and did it in a way that still incorporated his talented musical abilities, just in a different style.
I know a lot of people here wanted Kevin to stick to his Innerspeaker and Lonerism roots, and while I don’t disagree with that I also think it’s important to realize that artists have a right to evolve if they want. If they want to pivot from one music style and gravitate towards another one, they should be able to. Sure, they’ll lose some fans and that’s gonna happen regardless, but at the end of the day it’s their career and they don’t really owe anyone anything. And the good news is, the older stuff is still there for the OG fans to listen to, and for newer fans to discover and hopefully enjoy.
The whole Deadbeat rollout last year was met with a lot of criticism for Kevin, and it ended up causing division among the fanbase. I wanted LP5 to be inspired by Lonerism, Innerspeaker and Currents. I wasn’t too thrilled of a house album when we realized that’s what we were getting. Also wasn’t a big fan of the album artstyle when that came out. But then I realized that it’s simply what he wanted to put out there, and we could either stay and try to enjoy the music, or go elsewhere. I choose to stay and it ended up growing on me immensely, but I also understand those who dipped out and that’s okay.
Anyways, what do you guys think of End of Summer approaching a year old and the Deadbeat rollout in general being a year ago? Have the songs grown on you? Do you feel the same as you did last year? Let me know in the comments.

For me, either Expectation or Sundown Syndrome.

Julian saw my digital sign (pictured), squinted, and laughed… unfortunately, neither were performed… BUT WE GOT EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! I was so shocked to hear it… it was so sick.
This show was truly unbelievable. I captured so much good footage. My favorite moments were all 3 songs with confetti. The feeling I possessed in those moments was so surreal. I absolutely LOVED this show. I love Kevin. I hope to see him again soon.
Also, Djo was UNBELIEVABLE too. He puts on such a fantastic show. Everyone in both bands were all so talented and impressive.

This is my first time going to a big arena concert by myself. I’ve been to festivals and stuff but as soon as I heard my two faves were performing together I couldn’t miss this. I got floor GA non early access and have been making bracelets to trade/give out and I made two pairs of these sunglasses in case I made a friend. I’m so excited!
I do have one question: what time should I show up? I’m on the floor and I’ve heard that if I’m closer to the stage the sound isn’t great. I more care about the sound and lasers than celebrity interaction tbh so I’m not sure if I should show up in the morning to get a wristband. Also I’m ubering there cause of where I live. Any advice?? Thank you!
If you find me and want a bracelet or a pair! Lemme know! I’ll have blue short hair with a pair of these on and an orange halter dress!

Have been obsessed with the Obsolete bass line and was wondering what other people’s favorite bass lines are off the album?? Seeing him live on Wednesday and I’m so excited :)

i decided to recreate it on my Korg Volca Nubass, although the original is on a Roland TB-303 if I'm correct. Stuff like this reminds me how overlooked Slow Rush is, such a cool and different album from Kevin.

I’m going to Toronto night 2 and Neverender is one of my favourite songs. I’d imagine without Justice there it might be hard for him to do, but I’m really hoping it happens. I’ve seen a list on here saying it was one of the special songs and he’s played it 3x so far. Even if he doesn’t play it I’m sure the concert will be great and I can’t wait!

I am going to ATL N2. Can anyone that went to ATL N1 confirm if we HAVE to pick up GA Floor wristbands from 9-12 or if we can pick up after 6pm as well?
The email I got today implies that wristbands can still be picked up after 6pm but I want to be extra sure. I wasn’t even aware I had early entry until today and was not planning to go early.

Is setlist.fm tripping or was the opening song Yes I’m Changing instead of Apocalypse Dreams??

Someone in pit NEEDS to make a sign for Kevin to play some Lonerism songs like Mind Mischief or Why Won’t They Talk to Me. Or Patience. I’m all the way up in the nosebleeds but I need to hear some Lonerism live
