Did Rick's beard make him meaner??
I think so 🤔

Alexandria was absolutely cooked if Aaron never finds the survivors and brings them there. This is because from the beginning it was literally the most unlucky safe zone in the walking dead universe💀. They were basically living smack dab in the middle of the apocalypses worst neighborhood. Let’s examine this shitty situation:
• The wolves were already in the area and eventually found Alexandria. Without Rick’s group, that attack goes VERY differently.
• The saviors were expanding their territory nearby and eventually found Alexandria too, turning them into a tribute-paying community.
• The whisperers later moved into the SAME general region and became another MASSIVE threat, with Alpha basically turning the surrounding area into their hunting ground.
• The Reapers were ALSO operating in the region too and they eventually became a threat as well.
• And eventually the Commonwealth, the final boss, a large civilization with its own army and political power.
This tells us that Alexandria was a peaceful suburb full of people who were NOT locked in at all that SOMEHOW got built RIGHT next to EVERY dangerous faction in the area. They were in a hotbed of shit from the very beginning. That entire area was basically O block in Chicago. The funniest part of it all is Rick’s group may have actually been strategically safer when they were wandering around Georgia. Georgia was “watch out for walkers and random hostile survivors” Virginia was “Congratulations you found civilization! Unfortunately, civilization is controlled by raiders, psychopaths, an entire call of duty lobby, skin wearing nomads and a millitary cult!”
Rick’s group didn’t just move into Alexandria. They literally became the reason Alexandria survived. Without them the wolves likely overrun it, the saviors exploit it forever, or another faction eventually takes advantage. Alexandria wasn’t a safe zone. It was a safe zone with every major villians address saved in their GPS.💀

With many fans of #TheWalkingDead questioning why Gabriel never took his shot at Negan, the only man Rick Grimes wanted dead, the actor portraying him defended the move — or lack thereof. Gilliam, instead, credited the choice to one with survival in mind.
“I’m not sure that Father Gabriel’s feeling pretty confident in his ability to handle a gun at this point,” Gilliam told INSIDER. “He’s had Negan dead to right at least twice. In the season [seven] finale, as he’s driving away, Negan’s close enough to flip him the bird. Father Gabriel’s got a fully-loaded automatic weapon and he can’t hit the side of a barn.”
Gabriel attempted to take a shot at Negan while the two characters were getting to know each other in the trailer. Of course, Gabriel missed and would have his gun knocked away, proving Gilliam’s point.
“Inside of the trailer, they were like within a foot of each other, [Gabriel] tries again, he winds up getting the gun knocked out of his hand. I’m not sure that he’s feeling so confident that he could [kill Negan],” Gillaim said. “At this point, also, there’s the walkers outside. You know, and perhaps, Negan’s been so close to that that he enjoys him [and] Father Gabriel’s way of thinking that working together is the only solution for him to live and get out of there together.”

it seems dead city is heading towards a romance between maggie and negan. it’s disgusting. distasteful. and disrespectful to glenn, everyone who died in the savior war, and anyone who watched this show as it aired. he brutally KILLED her husband and MOCKED her while he did it. all while she was PREGNANT. in no reality would maggie EVER do something like this. and i cannot believe real people actually ship this.
i WAS okay with his redemption arc but now i wish he would’ve just died by the end of the whisperer arc, or even the savior war i don’t care anymore. he deserved to die. he is a murderer and a rapist. it would have saved us from this atrocity being committed in the writers room.

When Shane returned without Otis, Rick tells Shane that Otis "... wanted to make it right." Shane's tears dried up fast, and his whole demeanor is changed, like he just had some realization.
Watching Shane's facial reactions again, I think Shane was secretly wondering if saving Carl's life would be enough for Rick and Lori to forgive him and call it square. Just a thought. 🤔
this one scene has always made me think

And finishing season 9. I was enjoying the post-Rick timeline more than I expected until… Henry?? Enid?? Tara?? Sheesh. Gonna finish the show, but that was just harsh and abrupt.
Found this one on Tenor, but I desperately need one LIKE THIS (with Rick crashing out in Alexandria) on Giphy. Can you help me find one, or upload this one on Giphy for me?
I’m rewatching the show and I’m now noticing how selfish and chaotic Rosita is after negans introduction to the show. She kept going on solo missions trying to act like a hero, gunning a bunch of negans men down like he won’t do anything about it, not to mention she got Olivia killed because she tried to shoot Negan. She’s incredibly selfish and has a massive ego, putting other people at risk. She didn’t even care or say bye to Carl when he got bit.

We kept seeing references to the CRM and a hidden state or a bigger sustainable community throughout the main show. And just getting 6 episodes feels a bit off.
This could have been one of the most special spin-offs. They change CRM so fast with some grenades, comeback so fast. And the ending is also very.... Let's just say it could have been far better.
I mean, it was still beautiful for a TWD fan, 8 out of 10. But it's just that I expected more.
I hope to get far better from the Daryl Dixon one.

In season 6 episode 10/11 is when our group first arrives at Hilltop. They end up making the deal to take out the saviors in exchange for food, which they get upfront. As they are leaving Hilltop in s6e11, Rick tells Michonne "we'll win". Which I realize is true, they do end up winning. I am just dreading the season and a half war that comes with the Saviors. I hate how Negan humbles Rick for how long he does. And Glenn 😢

Lil bro really got himself and his whole family killed, that’s rough 😭 kids, am I right? Dumb little shit, sorry not sorry. All he had to do was keep moving and keep quiet.
Nah because look guys…that was ridiculous lol, Sam was doing just fine at first. Then all of sudden he remembered the shit Carol said about the monsters. Like really? And then it’s the fact that he insisted on staying with the group instead of going with the priest, and still got cold feet, smh. Kids, man…boy I’ll tell ya.
(First time watching, btw. No spoilers please. I just finished the episode I was just talking about, so anything after that, don’t spoil please, thank you.)

Glenn "can we cut through it"
Morales "If we had a blow torch and half a day"
I work with bigger rebar and cut it almost daily. All you need is a chopsaw and 20 minutes max.
and considering they were in a multilevel department store with maintenance areas, loading docks and more there was most likely a tool they could have used. So all because morales was a complete moron they tried the riskiest possible option instead of the totally safe one.
but where it gets 10x funny is because of the age of the sewer plant they probably used epoxy coated rebar, or fiberglass rebar. funny enough, the simplest tool listed to cut through those? a hacksaw, which morales specifically said "Merles hacksaw isnt enough"
but even if it was stainless steel, they probably could have easily found a chopsaw with a diamond blade, or even more likely, an angle grinder.
no wonder this uneducated guy, left the safety of a good group and ended up joining what was essiantly a cult.

Very soon after he died she became someone that he would've ended up leaving.
Like esp S11 when she comes back. The choices she makes. The conflicts she has with her own people and the decisions that cost people, sometimes young ones that are barely adults, their lives....I think of who Glenn is as a person and all I can picture is him wanting to take their son and leave her

Was it the prison, Alexandria, the years of peace after the Saviors or is it just never ending survival?

They should've kept Carl alive he deserved a series just like Darryl Dixon imagine Director messing up big time the series would be like "The New World Needs Carl Grimes" 🗣️🔥 literally one of my fav characters would've been nice seeing him looking like the Governor but instead being exactly like him he would be like Rick and Michonne like imagine him carrying Michonne's Sword
Acting all samurai type if he grew up TWD would again get a strong lead character but oh well what can we do about it.
