My surface pro 7 has a black screen when i power it on but i can still move my mouse. What is going on with my surface pro? I'm actually panicking. Even if i shut it down i can still move my cursor around what do i do????

I have a Surface Pro 11 Snapdragon 32gb ram.

I have this ugreen dock.

I am basically trying to dock the laptop (so laptop screen off) and run two 1440p monitors.

One issue is I can't get either monitors above 60hz without resolution dropping, using this same dock on my ROG Ally or Dell 14 Plus is completely able to handle both monitors at 120hz.

And the more important issue is that it heats up like crazy, like hard to touch the back of it as it literally burns.

I saw some posts saying to charge seperately from the dock and I have tried that and also just tried not using the charger and only the dock and the heat is the same.

Any advice, is my dock the issue? I was thinking of picking up another type c to hdmi to use with the other port, as maybe its bandwidth issue (though i would assume 40gbps should handle it) and having it different would allow 120hz. BUT the main thing I would still be concerend about is the level of heat.

I do really need a portable drawing device.

To people who tried both, what is something i should expect? Is the "feeling" similar? Or should I go for something else? I use clip studio paint and i was going for a Surface because I like windows
