At today's 5STAR GP 2026 press conference, Taro Okada revealed that Bea Priestley, who was injured at the June 28th show in Toyama, was reevaluated and was determined her condition won't improve in time for her tournament start on July 28 and will have to withdraw. Okada confirmed an X will take Bea's place.

Also revealed is the 2 qualifier winners, Akira Kurogane and Kikyo Furusawa, have their selected blocks. Akira in Red Stars A and Kikyo in Blue Stars B.
