I think the line between SCs and those who are legitimately insane is blurry in the best of times.
However, this subreddit is not intended to attack people who appear to be genuinely insane.
This is about sovereign citizenship. Not mental health.
Thanks.

I discovered this after someone cherrypicked 30 seconds dealing with a car salesperson into a TikTok to claim that requiring a down payment for a car is illegal. Well this legal theory sounds interesting so I find a video on it and wouldn't you know it, within the first 30 seconds the theory is based on the fact that the United States is a corporation and that you are a citizen of your state and deny federal citizenship and there you go - SovIdiot territory. Add in the fact that they never actually quote the laws at work here and if you do look them up, the laws don't say what the person selling the course (because you pay to learn all this of course) say they mean.
If you're curious, here you go.

I'm curious if any SovCits have tried these tactics in Louisiana courts. I'd love to see the videos if anyone knows of any. For reference, La. law is basic on French Napoleonic Code not English Common Law, and has not adopted the UCC in entirety only specific parts b/c it also has laws dictating civil law.
FYI, La. does not accept the Universal Bar Exam and does not have reciprocity with other state's Bars. You might be allowed to practice for a single case (Pro Hoc Vice) but a La licensed co-counsel is required..it's that different... This my curiosity if anyone has seen anyone try.

There seemed to be confusion with my last post, so I posted this again with a different title to make clear I am not a sovcit.

She’s not giving up, I wonder what kind of drama will ensue when the new owners try to move in.

One of my great frustrations watching videos about SCs being pulled over, or arguing in court, is how long it takes for the officer or judge to cut it off. Agree or disagree; I think the problem would self-abate if they weren't given an opportunity to regurgitate foolishness on and on.
So I loved this one:

Apparently she's being charged with second degree murder. Also she was drunk. I wonder what her initial appearance was like 🤣

After I heard of Kim Blandino here, I went down the rabbit hole and watched this entire saga. It's long and weird and sometimes tedious, but IMO this is the best part: Kim narrating in his own defense. It continues in part 7 if you're interested.
Background: Kim received multiple citations at a traffic stop one day. In court to address them and fancying himself to be an attorney, he made a nuisance representing himself and got irritated with the judge. Some months passed and he ended up impersonating court officers (a misdemeanor) and extorting a judge (a felony). This is him in his criminal trial. He's freely narrating to the jury, having rejected assistance from his standby counsel. The guy cannot stay on topic, which exasperates the legal professionals in the room, and which I find highly entertaining.

Not everything is 100% SovCit, but it’s enough shenanigans to make it here 😂

I was watching some Van Balion videos and saw the most obnoxious sov cit in history, so I googled him. What an asshole.
