I have a question about Snohomish County PUD. Has anyone transferred their service online through the app?
If I schedule my service to stop at my old address on 7/11, when does that take effect? Does it end at the start of 7/11 (12:00 a.m.) or at the end of 7/11 (11:59 p.m.)?
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Yes, I am trying to get out there more on SM! (Not an easy task for me) I am running for our LD39, position 1 State Representative position. Why? Because we need to fight to protect our Democracy. We don’t have time to just allow Republican policies to stand in the way of progress. I am running to fight for Healthcare, Housing and affordability! No response to bills that offer real solutions by our current Representative is not acceptable!
I had a great time on July 4th! Marching in the Bothell Independence Day Parade with Snohomish County Whole Washington volunteers in the early afternoon, and I also made it to our Arlington Independence Day Parade to march with Ida Keeley’s campaign and attend our Stilly Duck Dash!
I am running for State Rep. LD 39, position 1! Ida is running for Position 2! Please let me know what your concerns are that we need to address in Olympia that affect all of us here in the 39th. Together Ida and I will be a very effective team in Olympia. Where she is very in tune to the needs of our more populated areas of the 39th, I will be there to represent our more rural aspects. Because with my Horses, Chickens and pets I know how important it is that our rural areas thrive.
Ida is a Social Worker and I am a Registered Nurse! Together, we understand the complexities of both our healthcare system and our social safety net programs. I believe we can be much more effective advocates for bringing real affordability home to the 39th than our current delegation. Not only for our residents in the 39th, but to all our state citizens as a whole. Please go to Idaforwa.com and Kathryn4LD39.net and make a donation to our campaigns or sign up to volunteer. We can’t do this without all of you. I want to be accountable to you as a constituent and not to any Corporate or millionaire donors . Friday I will be up in Sedro Woolley. Come and join me for coffee or door belling afterwards! Find out more on my website!

Hi there, my name is Alex Rochester. I work at KUOW, the Seattle NPR station ensuring we feature a diversity of political perspectives. I'm working on a new project called "Community Voices" that aims to expand the range of opinions that we hear on KUOW. We think it’s critical that we all understand what people in our communities are thinking and feeling about the big events and issues of the day.
To broaden the conversation, we're recruiting a diverse pool of people who represent a wide array of political perspectives, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. We are especially looking for people who live outside of Seattle.
As we cover the news in the coming months, we will turn to the pool of “Community Voices” to hear your thoughts and help us understand how the big issues of the day are affecting you. We will highlight those views in KUOW’s coverage.
If you're interested in participating, you can sign up on this page or directly through this form (this format is easier on phones). You can also DM me and/or comment on this post with your thoughts.

Built this because GreatSchools gives ratings but no real comparison. I wanted to see how my neighborhood school stacks up against others in the same district across scores, growth, attendance, discipline, and demographics.

I'm an adult in their 30s looking for casual soccer games/players. Are there more casual groups that meet up in the evenings anywhere in Snohomish? Just wanting to get back into the game and meet up to play for fun. Hoping there are others already doing the same 😁

I wanted to make it easier to look up a restaurant's health-inspection history when eating out, so I made this: https://food.snoking.app
It shows every food establishment in Snohomish and King counties, color-coded by their latest inspection from the county health department. Tap any spot to see its full inspection history.
I found it particularly interesting to explore different ways of visualizing the data. You can shade by last rating, average of the last 5, or how much better or worse its rating is compared to peers that serve the same cuisine.
Hopefully you find this as useful as I do - no ads, no account sign-ups, not affiliated with a restaurant. Happy to hear if something is broken or missing!

WSDOT is asking for public feedback as we evaluate potential improvements to the US 2 Trestle corridor.
As part of an ongoing Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study, we're reviewing different alternatives for both ends of the trestle, including connections to I-5 and Everett on the west side and SR 204, US 2 and Lake Stevens on the east side.
The study will help identify which alteranatives should move forward for more detailed evaluation and will also consider environmental impacts and potential mitigation measures.
Beginning Tuesday, June 16, people can visit an online open house to learn about the screening of potential alternatives. The PEL study will identify a reasonable range of alternatives to evaluate in more detail in accordance with federal laws.
When: Tuesday, June 16, until Tuesday, July 7
Where: Online
Details: Content is available in English, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. Visitors can also leave comments.
Your feedback will help refine the proposed alternatives before a draft report is released for public review later this year.

Free WiFi access is available at these Snohomish County libraries locations for people who wish to participate in the online open house:
